U just have to take it with a grain of salt I guess.. there are somethings we already know in the book, and some things that taraborelli says that Mike said or did that TO ME don't sound like something Mike would say or do. I did read the chapters about the 93 allegations, and those are specifically the times where I am skeptical of some of what Taraborelli says Mike said or did during those times. He sometimes painted him as like a petulant child or something and I am not sure Mike would have reacted like that... but then again maybe he did.. I don't know.

I can see why ppl trash Taraborelli though. I mean he does NOT in any way, paint Mike as a perfect saint, and I think some fans can't accept that. I mean the man did stupid things and made dumb decisions.. Taraborelli says he picked the wrong ppl to handle his affairs AND felt like he should be allowed to do whatever he wanted to do because he wanted to, because he was who he was and didn't want people telling him no. Sound like the Michael I know...

When you read it lemme know what you think we can discuss it. The website I was reading from only has the chapters that were added on to the second and third editions though, not the stuff before Jordan and not the stuff after the History Era.

LOL thank you hun! Now I am really motivated to get over my passivity towards this book and read it. I would luv to discuss it later. I would never expect Michel to be the saint, but you know... the difference between deep psychological picture and just crap is huge and most of the times we were fed only by pathetic crap. OK, I will start reading tomorrow. It might take me a bit longer that the eanglish speaking person and besidesI have to work :)cry:), but I will tell you when I am done and have my own opinion :) :) :)

i started it a few weeks back. its ok so far Calla. like HB says take some of it with a grain of salt. what i have read so far is ok. im not to far into it thou.

yeah, I am inhibited regarding this books and stuff. I guess I've seen to many books/documents that started pretty well, but ended horrible. I even think that the begining of this Shitface's 'living with MJ' wasn't so bad. But we all know how it ended...

Oh that Bashir thing.. Wow. I knew it was gonna be a mess when it aired. I jut knew it. :no: Taraborelli talks about that in the book as well... and again stuff we already knew, that he trusted Bashir because he did the Diana docu and trusted him to paint Mike in a "poor misunderstood me" kinda way. It totally backfired, and even though Mike gave Bashir ALOT of weird shit to work with Bashir had every intention on making Mike look like a crazy person...
