Latest on MJJC

Chicago is on Sony Music Unlimited, 30 second Snippet preview has been released.

The instrumental is still growing on me..... but the chorus is great though!! Either way I'm looking forward to hearing the demo of this :D

backing vocals sound a bit fake? lol i felt that but only heard it once, sounds like autotune was used when he says the word SMILED 'she SMILED and looked at me' and ANGEL when he says 'an ANGEL sent from heaven just for me'
 
I would say the voice isn't loud enough... one of Michael's greatest assets is his voice, maybe a CD quality will sound better. But thus far, i think the music is a bit loud, but other than that, the song sounds REALLY modern, it honestly sounds like he was with us... i wanna cry
 
This song is too good.. its so groovy and the background music is just amazing. No wonder people thought this is something MJ would have come up with but I know he would have crossed all boundaries to get unique sounds which would make it even better. Sigh anyway, this is really good though. Totally a track which is meant to be played on the stereo LOUD.:)

I notice that too. Wish the vocals were louder, the production is a little overpowering. After listening to it a few times I've warmed up to the instrumental a bit more, for some reason it reminds me of a spooky video game :zombie:

Its very smooth and funky!!! I love the subject matter it's so real. And I love the way MJ sings in the verses, goes well with the beat sounds very hip-hop/r&b. Minor gripe, I wish after the breakdown of the music with the chorus near the end, timbo just ended with instrumental and chopping MJ's voice or something. I feel like the chorus repeated one too many times at the end. Apart from that, I am happy with this!!!! Will be interesting to hear the original demo.

So guys, the full version is on Mediafire. Don't think it's very legal so I won't share here unless it's allowed... But as you imagine it's a bad ass song. The verses are definitely demo vocals but it's a song with attitude, sounds very modern. :)

I'm not sure its more a case of the audio being altered for syncopation more than tuning reasons.
 
guys i just came here cause i dont have any where else to share but:
i just heard that song,really tried not to until the album came out so i could get the whole experience,but i just couldn't help it,so i played it on my "beats".
let me tell you guys,this song just became my all time fave of any artist or group,timberland just popped my head took my brain and smash it to my ears.

in my opinion the best song ive ever heard,it got the person with the most incredible voice on it and it got the "trap-hiphop" type of thing going on,and i am sooooooo into it.

this is just so stupid to not release this as first single,this would absolutely smash the radio and charts all day!!!
and if they are not planing on releasing that as a single i would just be so faing mad.

and for sure not an opening single compared this that!

they said they'll put each song on that site until the day the album drops.

Only heard the 30 second snippet. Sounds like a cool song. Very 90's/early 2000's R&B. The instrumental doesn't sound like something MJ would have been ok with though. Very generic and yes, a bit cheap sounding. Like someone loaded a few VST presets and just threw together a quick beat.
 
The song is good, but IMO the structure of the song is a little bit "simple."
MJ's vocal performance and the reproduce from producer is good though, the structure is at demo's level.
