Did MJ Find Love In The Dark (continued)

Nice posts queen g and SoS.

Energy truly is a powerful thing, especially when mutual chemistry on all levels, mind, body and soul, is part of the equation. How did Michael say it in that one note he released last November.....

"I can feel your energy through the walls".....:)

A message to the fans, maybe also a sign to her? I dunno.....

In the dark, in the light, whichever and whomever "she" may be, if there is a someone, like it was written in the stars HE KNEW.....maybe it was destiny?.....

I don't know about y'all, but for me Monday cannot roll soon enough so we can all enjoy 'This is it', the song. I still remember the wonderful feeling last year when at the end of June we got to hear, albeit in not the most appropriate of circumstances coughleakcough, Hold my hand. It was soooo beautiful and comforting to hear his clear, wonderful voice again after so many years. If I ain't mistaken the start of this thread is a bit related in timing with that, isn't it? And who would have thought back then that it would reach over 400 pages. I guess it is the little thread that could. I wonder how high the mountain is and how steep the climb.

Isn't there some controversy about the release of it in the GD section? oh well, I'm looking forward to hearing new music whenever it gets released :) and yes this thread did start back up around the time "Hold My Hand" was leaked, there was lots of excitement in the air. :)

The little thread that could is right :train:

Good post queen_g :) good 2 c u

Thanks Vic for explaining things. These guys really did some work to get us back up and running.

Its interesting that some very deep posts disappeared, I learned things I never knew and would like to read again *cough*MP*Shabuya*cough* unique and interesting stuff ..

Light shows itself amid and within darkness in the outer world, the lyrics say "someone in the dark", not someone who the darkness is within ... the Dangerous girl's darkness was within herself

Lyrics

When someone in the dark reaches out to you
And touches off a spark that comes shining through
It tells you never be afraid

Then somewhere in your heart you can feel the glow
A light to keep you warm when the night winds blow
Like it was written in the stars I knew
My friend, my "someone in the dark" was you

Oh, God! I love this song! It is so beautiful, so romantic, so sincere! Hear its shudder me!

My favorite part:

"Wherever you may be
I'll look up and see
Someone in the dark for me!"

Oh man that really good post I made a few days ago is gone! :( Wish I would have saved that one. I don't even remember what it was that I wrote in it, just that it was good. Oh, something about finishing the humanitarian work, despite Michael's "passing", right? Because that's really what Michael would want for his fans to do, in his absence, is work for humanity, because that was his message. I really wish that would have been one of the posts that stayed. Oh well.

In the dark, in the light, whichever and whomever "she" may be, if there is a someone, like it was written in the stars HE KNEW.....maybe it was destiny?.....

Lily, you reminded me of a Jackson 5 song that I love so much:

Destiny - Jackson 5

In this world there's much confusion
And I've taste the city life and it's not for me
Now I do dream of distant places
Where? I don't know now, but it's destiny...
If it's the rich life
I don't want it
Happiness ain't always material things
I want destiny
It's the place for me
Give me the simple life
I'm getting away from here
Let me be me
C'mon let me feel free
Now I'm a man that's for all seasons
And what the city offers me ain't naturally
I look to greet the stars but there are no stars to see
I'm gonna search this world until I find my destiny
If its the rich life I don't want it
Happiness ain't always material things...
I want destiny
It's the place for me
Give me the simple life
I'm getting away from here
Let me be me
C'mon let me feel free
Let me be me
I wanna get far from here
Or should I up and fly away so fancy free
yeah
Nobody can change my mind
the words of destiny are calling me wild time...
(Music break)
Ah destiny
you and me
so fancy free
Ah destiny
should we fly away
Ah destiny
you and me
so fancy free
Ah destiny

Wow I love that song by Kirk Franklin
I also associate Michael with that song
I made this vid last year and just re-uploaded it in august

Michael Jackson takes us to church _ STOMP :)

qbee, thanks for sharing this beautiful video! :D

Another amazing picture of my collection of our beloved Michael:

Simply perfect... :wub::wub::wub:

Well thank you all for your compliments/sentiments, I appreciate it. The message it contained was SO important, but there is no way of re-creating it.

Well, moving on...I suppose.

Thank you for understanding. Is the glass half-empty, or half-full? It was a nightmare! Or, a gentle demonstration/sign? This is a thread about love, and magic, and miracles.

Continue. . . .

Victoria, the glass can ONLY be half full. If one goes through life focusing on the negativity that is permeating almost every aspect of reality, existence would be nothing but one prolonged agony. There has got to be more to life than this.

Isn't there some controversy about the release of it in the GD section?

Lily, from my understanding the controversy is about the sale of the single, not its release. I expect we will hear it on the radio all over the world. What I would love though would be an online streaming, just as there was for the TII trailer. In any case, it's bound to be brilliant

Another beautiful picture of our dear Michael:

semttulokkkk.png

:stretcher :stretcher :stretcher :stretcher :stretcher

I've never seen that photo before!! Michael looks SO CUTE...SO SWEET in that photo. I instantly started crying when I saw that picture because he looks so sweet and I just instantly started missing him again. :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: He's SUCH a beautiful person...inside and OUT. Such a GOOD person...and such a GORGEOUS man. It's not fair that he is gone!! :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo:

So, apparently the space-time continuum suffered a tiny 'glitch' round MJJC now, didn't it?

I'm sorry about the whole issue, because I saw even the thread with quotes from Michael is no longer here. I was sooo pleased to read his, how should I put this... firm conviction that the whole concept of karma is ludicrous? His stance on creationism was equally on point and so beautifully argumented. The man also knew his History, but then again, I ain't surprised one bit.

I also loved one of the comments in there about the futility of nationalism. Like the person who wrote, I too see no sense in finding a particular amount of pride for belonging/being born in a certain country. I am, first and foremost, a citizen of the world.

Yesterday I took part in a meeting where there was a sign with one of Europe's mottos 'unity in diversity'. I'd say that applies to the entire globe - we are all united in one human family, but that unity is of course so beautifully manifested in the colorful diversity of cultural and religious expressions. I love the specificity of cultures (right now I'm enjoying an amazing Korean series), especially when it manifests in different forms the unversality of values such as dignity, courage and love.

And now.... from the strange and weird fact file - am I crazy or do the lyrics to 'Cheater' point to an employment/business relationship gone sour/the lack of honesty on part of Michael's business partners rather than a personal story, as the title would suggest? On second thought, yall better leave out the crazy point, it was a rhetorical question. I'm asking because I see the vid (the wonderful collage made by MTV Base) almost every day and up until today I hadn't realize it. This morning I think I played the song about 7 times in a roll when I arrived at the office, I think i'm addicted LOL.

Earlier, as I was searching for videos of Cheater on you tube I also found the original, longer version; I love it even more because of the extended notes and ad-libs at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKnCtB4Guyk&feature=related

To my surprise I also found another marvel. I seem to 'recall' in a foggy kinda way some stuff about lil and big Mike and today I found the 1992 pepsi commercial featuring both of them in a wonderful rendition of "I'll be there". It is emotional, so please be adviced, access the link at your own safety http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUl4PRwtA3c&NR=1 It is kinda funny though to think that Michael hated pepsi, it confirmed a long held suspicion of mine. Coke is better anyhow, even though they both are harmful to the body if consumed in excessive amounts. It doesn't matter though, because the commercial is beautiful.

I don't know about y'all, but for me Monday cannot roll soon enough so we can all enjoy 'This is it', the song. I still remember the wonderful feeling last year when at the end of June we got to hear, albeit in not the most appropriate of circumstances coughleakcough, Hold my hand. P.S. Great pics there ash and tha, so generous of you to share, thx.

I love the idea of us all being "Citizens of the World". I mean, I love differenet cultures and foreign languages and it's fun to learn about different customs and traditions, etc. But at the same time we are all inhabitants of this earth, so we all have that in common and we should all have a sense of "unity" because of that. My parents used to always keep reminding me how LUCKY I was to have been born into my country when I was a kid. I'll never forget it. They didn't teach me our nationality is BETTER than some other nationality. No. They told me that I need to be very grateful to have been born into my country because there are children in other countries who have no food to eat, no toys to play with, no house to live in and some have no parents, and there's war and violence in their country. My mom especially kept reminding me about it every day. She'd go "Think about the poor children in other countries who weren't as lucky and don't have what you have. Make sure you appreciate what you have because not all kids have what you have." And she also made sure that my sister and I played with handicapped children, because she wanted us to learn to get along with kids who are different too and that we learn to respect and accept kids/people who are different. Anyways, so it's really thanks to my parents, but especially my mom, that I learned that we are all the same...even when we are different, we are "the same", and you should treat everyone with love, respect and kindness, no matter what their race, color, etc. is.

Well thank you all for your compliments/sentiments, I appreciate it. The message it contained was SO important, but there is no way of re-creating it.

Well, moving on...I suppose.

Well, I think all the "regulars" here most likely saw it and read it, so it didn't go to waste completely. It's too bad it is gone, but I think we all got the message in your post. We must continue to "heal the world", even though Michael is gone. We shouldn't "throw in the towel" on trying to heal the world, just because Michael is no longer with us to inspire us and motivate us. It's up to us now to "dust off our butts" and "get back to work" and do something to make this world a better place for you, me and everyone else on this planet. That's what Michael would have wanted.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

Indeed I believe it will be brilliant. Hopefully the music was kept as Michael created it and not changed into something Sony wants it to be. :mello:

What I'm looking forward to is hearing new lyrics and what the music that accompanies those lyrics is going to sound like. I love that piece of the instrumental song that was released, it is so beautiful, like the music tells the story, it speaks to you without lyrics.

Michael's a creative genius and it will be interesting to see the man he evolved into and where his creativity, heart, happiness and inspirations were at, at this time in his life. :)

Well, moving on...I suppose.

I will only speak for myself although I know most of us saw, read and understood the message in your post. :) imo the important thing in life is absorbing what we've learned and experienced and moving forward. I admit at first I was disappointed my posts were lost because I like reading back on what my thoughts or mood may have been at any given time. But then I thought about what admin and staff went through to keep MJJC up and running and my disappointment was nothing in comparison to what they were experiencing. To be honest I felt like I was being selfish even feeling that way, and that quickly checked me back to reality because I'm far from being a selfish person. Then I sat thinking about the reality of it all and imo it's like I said in one of my previous posts, things come and go in an instant, but what did we take away from the experience? The words may be gone, but not the memories.

We all CAN make a difference, and sometimes that may not be to the masses but one person at a time. It is possible. It's about living a selfless life, doing things from your heart, making and/or doing a kind gesture for someone "just because" to brighten their day, remembering to "pay it forward" to someone in need without expecting anything in return...those actions are the food to our soul, those actions are what help build character, those actions are what life is about. At least thats imo and the type of person I was taught to be. :)

Your message wasn't all for not, yes it was very important, and it also was heard. Maybe you will be inspired to create new thoughts to share with us someday, and I'm sure they will be just as important. :)

 I was thinking... All Michael did was so wonderful and brilliant. :D And it will be different with the song "This is it." It will be everywhere. It will touch on all radios. Everyone will just talk about this song. It will be a great success and the movie. I can still say that with the movie Michael will break another record and will enter the Guinness Book again. :wild: I feel that this will happen and I'm hoping very much. :D:wub:

Yes, Michael will be in Guinness Book again! He excels in everything and "This Is It" will not be different! "We'll see him in a way that we never seen before!" I'm very excited! "This is the moment, THIS IS IT!"

Now I remember this part of the song "Simply The Best" - Tina Tuner:

"You're simply the best, better than all the rest better than anyone, anyone I've ever met "

:) :D

Ash, Tha, I agree! I don't have doubt that Michael will be again in the Guinness Book! I'm so excited! :wild:

Justus I read your post, you used words sincere and sweet .. don't will be easy to forget ... I hope anxious to see your next comments!

Hi all!

I'm wondering if you've seen a particular poster I've been looking for, their name is "DangerouZ." j/k!

Anyway, speaking of "Dangerous":

Are those lines in Dangerous? I really don't know that song. Doesn't Who Is It start with a similar train of thought? "I gave her money, I gave her time..."

Is the Dangerous girl the same girl he is speaking of in Who Is It? I kind of thought like you, Summer, that the Dangerous girl was just plain bad news, but the girl in Who Is It, he seems to be upset with her, angry with her (maybe... dare I say, unreasonably?) for going away without an explanation. Based on the lyrics, we don't know if that girl did anything wrong at all, do we?

But if she is the Dangerous girl, well, hmm, that might change my view on her a bit.

'Cause she apparently was no bleepity bleepity bleep good for him. Right?

You know, I was looking over the lyrics 'cause I just couldn't believe both songs were referring to the same person and I made a startling discovery that I had never seen before. There are actually TWO women in the song "Dangerous." I think I never really noticed this before 'cause the first woman was so predominate. I bolded the reference to the second woman in the lyrics. He refers to the second woman as "my baby."

Dangerous lyrics

The Way She Came Into The Place
I Knew Right Then And There
There Was Something Different
About This Girl

The Way She Moved
Her Hair, Her Face, Her Lines
Divinity In Motion

As She Stalked The Room
I Could Feel The Aura
Of Her Presence
Every Head Turned
Feeling Passion And Lust

The Girl Was Persuasive
The Girl I Could Not Trust
The Girl Was Bad
The Girl Was Dangerous

I Never Knew But I Was
Walking The Line
Come Go With Me
I Said I Have No Time
And Don't You Pretend We Didn't
Talk On The phone
My Baby Cried
She Left Me Standing Alone

She's So Dangerous
The Girl Is So Dangerous
Take Away My Money
Throw Away My Time
You Can Call Me Honey
But You're No Damn Good For Me

She Came At Me In Sections
With The Eyes Of Desire
I Fell Trapped Into Her
Web Of Sin
A Touch, A Kiss
A Whisper Of Love
I Was At The Point
Of No Return

Deep In The Darkness Of
Passion's Insanity
I Felt Taken By Lust's
Strange Inhumanity
This Girl Was Persuasive
This Girl I Could Not Trust
The Girl Was Bad
The Girl Was Dangerous

I Never Knew
But I Was Living In Vain
She Called My House
She Said You Know My Name
And Don't You Pretend
You Never Did Me Before
With Tears In Her Eyes
My Baby Walked Out The Door

She's So Dangerous
The Girl Is So Dangerous
Take Away My Money
Throw Away My Time
You Can Call Me Honey
But You're No Damn Good For Me

Dangerous
The Girl Is So Dangerous
I Have To Pray To God
'Cause I Know How
Lust Can Blind
It's A Passion In My Soul
But You're No Damn Lover
Friend Of Mine

I Can not Sleep Alone Tonight
My Baby Left Me Here Tonight
I Cannot Cope 'Til It's All Right
You And Your Manipulation
You Hurt My Baby

And Then It Happened
She Touched Me
For The Lips Of
A Strange Woman
Drop As A Honeycomb
And Her Mouth Was
Smoother Than Oil
But Her Inner Spirit And Words
Were As Sharp As
A Two-Edged Sword
But I Loved It
'Cause It's Dangerous

Dangerous
The Girl Is So Dangerous
Take Away My Money
Throw Away My Time
You Can Call Me Honey
But You're No Damn Good For Me

Dangerous
The Girl Is So Dangerous
Take Away My Money
Throw Away My Time
You Can Call Me Honey
But You're No Damn Good For Me

Maybe "his baby" (who was left crying in the song 'cause of the "Dangerous" woman) and the "Who Is It" girl are the same, rather than the "Dangerous" girl and the "Who Is It" girl being the same.

Now I'm here thinking that the "Dangerous girl" has some liaison with "Dirty Diana"!

Well, both the "Dangerous" girl and "Dirty Diana" are both similar, they are both seductresses, but I don't get that impression from the "Who Is It" girl. She just left his life for one reason or another. Two completely different things.

I think the "dirty diana" & "dangerous" girl were bout those ladies like trying to get into mjs pants!

Where as "who is it" was bout his girl leaving him without her telling him why. And mike is thinking "why" "did she leave me for someonelse?" "and who is this someelse"?

Maaaaan, did MJ have like a long blackboard placed on one of his walls with all his women charted out with chalk so he could keep them all straight? What a balancing act.

A little book with the name of all the "naughty" girls!

DIRTY DIANA

You'll Never Make Me Stay
So Take Your Weight Off Of Me
I Know Your Every Move
So Won't You Just Let Me Be
I've Been Here Times Before
But I Was Too Blind To See
That You Seduce Every Man
This Time You Won't Seduce Me

She's Saying That's Ok
Hey Baby Do What You Please
I Have The Stuff That You Want
I Am The Thing That You Need
She Looked Me Deep In The Eyes
She's Touchin' Me So To Start
She Says There's No Turnin' Back
She Trapped Me In Her Heart

Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, No
Dirty Diana
Let Me Be!

Oh No . . .
Oh No . . .
Oh No . . .

She Likes The Boys In The Band
She Knows When They Come To Town
Every Musician's Fan After
The Curtain Comes Down
She Waits At Backstage Doors
For Those Who Have Prestige
Who Promise Fortune And Fame,
A Life That's So Carefree

She's Saying That's Ok
Hey Baby Do What You Want
I'll Be Your Night Lovin' Thing
I'll Be The Freak You Can Taunt
And I Don't Care What You
Say
I Want To Go Too Far
I'll Be Your Everything
If You Make Me A Star

Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, No
Dirty Diana . . .
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, No
Dirty Diana . . .
Diana!
Diana!
Dirty Diana!
It's Dia . . .Aa . . .Aa . . .
Come On!

She Said I Have To Go Home
'Cause I'm Real Tired You See
But I Hate Sleepin' Alone
Why Don't You Come With
Me
I Said My Baby's At Home
She's Probably Worried Tonight
I Didn't Call On The Phone

To Say That I'm Alright

Diana Walked Up To Me,
She Said I'm All Yours Tonight
At That I Ran To The Phone
Sayin' Baby I'm Alright
I Said But Unlock The Door,
Because I Forgot The Key
,
She Said He's Not Coming Back
Because He's Sleeping With Me

Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, No
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana, Nah
Dirty Diana . . .
Come On!
Come On!
Come On!
Come On!...

Maybe "his baby" (who was left crying in the song 'cause of the "Dangerous" woman) and the "Who Is It" girl are the same, rather than the "Dangerous" girl and the "Who Is It" girl being the same.
I'm so observant and never paid attention to it. Accidents happen. lol! I could never imagine that would be two women (imaginary - yes, she or they do not exist and never existed! Lol!) :wild:

Tha, mentioned "Dirty Diana". In my opinion Michael has created several profiles of imaginary women for their songs. Michael was always very creative, so it would not be complicated and much less difficult to create a profile of imaginary woman. That's what I think about it.

Before anyone speaks of women in the song of Michael... As I always say and I will never tire of repeating (lol!), You can not say with 100% certainty what came to mind of the artist at the time of creation of his work. We can only speculate. So for me, "she" never existed and is a character with different personalities created by Michael for his songs.
