No surprise there, BUT I said it before and I'll say it again:

Those 2 liars don't want a trial, they want a quick settlement, in my opinion.

Note To Them: It's ain't gonna happen!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Oprah doesn't want a trial and neither does HBO. Too many lies will be exposed, further damaging the credibility of both entities.

Interesting to see in another tweet that Tom Mesereau is now 'Special Counsel' to John Branca, Trustee of the Estate of Michael Jackson.

Bye liars.

PS ...'agreement from BOTH sides'. Estate are not playing.

Edited to add LINK to court full decision (Thank you to fans on Twitter)

I just got the chills!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is awesome news.

The fact that T-Mez has firsthand experience with Robson's participation in the 2005 trial is a truly "WOW" moment, in my opinion. I'm absolutely positive that Robson does NOT want T-Mez involved in this mess.

Robson and Safechuck are playing Checkers, while T-Mez and The Estate of Michael Jackson are playing Chess!!!!!

A certain media site reports thus:

MICHAEL JACKSON ESTATE
ACCUSERS GIVEN GREEN LIGHT TO SUE FOR SEXUAL ABUSE

The 2 men who were featured in "Leaving Neverland" who accused Michael Jackson of molesting them as children have just won a huge legal victory ... because a California appeals court has just given them the right to sue for sexual abuse.

A trial judge threw out the cases of James Safechuck and Wade Robson, on grounds they waited too long to file their claim. When they filed their lawsuits, California law did not support their claim, because the statute of limitations required them to file before they turned 26. At the time they filed, Robson was 30 and Safechuck was 36.

But, a new law took effect on January 1, 2020, which allows sexual abuse victims to sue until they're 40. A California appeals court just ruled the new law allows both Robson and Safechuck to have their cases tried -- presumably before a jury.

It's a huge reversal of fortune. Up till now, the MJ companies have been able to fend off these claims based on the statute of limitations, but that's all changed as of New Year's Day.

Under the ruling, the 2 men can go to trial against MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures ... and according to the law, they could win if they prove the allegations and show the people who ran the company knew or should have known they were in peril. As for the MJ Estate, there are different rules, and both Safechuck and Robson are barred by the statute of limitations.

redacted claims........ (No-one wants to read that rubbish again). *

The folks who manage Jackson's Estate have said all along the claims are bogus and filed by disgruntled former MJ fans who are barred by the statute of limitations. The Estate lawyer, Howard Weitzman, told TMZ in the past he's confident the claims will be dismissed.

AND:
The Estate just gave TMZ this statement ..."The Court of Appeal did NOT revive the lawsuits by Mr. Robson and Mr. Safechuck against the Estate of Michael Jackson. Both of those lawsuits were dismissed in 2016" -- just as we said in the post. They also say the 2 men "absurdly claim that Michael's employees are somehow responsible for sexual abuse that never happened." They also note the appeals court did not address the merits of the claims ... that's for a jury to decide.

* A certain disgusting producer's film co. is happily retweeting it all of course.

Looks like this is going to be a very wild year again! The court case won't likely be this year though Im guessing. How long will we have to wait until this crap ends?

TMZ once more published this before the news were officially out, so probably another Finaldi leak.

Court document (PDF download) available now:

Below is the full and official opinion just published by the appellate court in Wade and James case. Remanding the cases back to trial court, with further instructions and explanation.https://t.co/Hf16A7OdeH
— TSCM (@MJJRepository) January 3, 2020

I don't know, but maybe this is the way it was meant to play out, i.e. A PUBLIC Trial. Sometimes I want it to happen, sometimes I don't.

That being said, I would love for Robson to take the witness stand and TRY to explain the different versions of his "abuse" story. I also feel that he is going to have a very, very, VERY hard time explaining that he lied, UNDER OATH, during the 2005 trial. That makes him a self-admitted liar, and the jury is NOT going to like that.

Safechuck, on the other hand, can't even conduct a soft ball interview without looking at Robson for guidance. How the heck is he going to withstand Team Jackson asking him questions??

P.S. IF there is a trial, I hope Team Jackson starts by asking Robson to read his letter to The Estate, OUT LOUD, for The Court and Jury to hear how badly he wanted to work on MJ's Las Vegas Show. That I would love to witness.

Not sure why everyone is surprised by that. I thought it was well known since the spring of 2013 that T-Mez is very much on board with everything. It was only logical, considering his first hand knowledge and involvement with Robson. It's a no-brainer really.

Let the wheels of justice roll, however slowly, may they roll and grind the truth into the open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i posted in the wrong thread but
isnt that **** not dead yet ? how long ? read nmy tweets wade you cunnnnnnnnnnnt

A bit more, from Billboard's report:
.............................................................

.....While the new court ruling does not address the truth of their allegations, it does give them the green light to proceed with their lawsuits against the companies.

Vince Finaldi, attorney for the plaintiffs, told Billboard over email that "we are pleased that the Court of Appeal recognized the strong protections California has for sexual abuse victims, as well as the extended time for them to file claims. We look forward to proving these claims before a jury. The time is coming for the Jackson estate and lawyers to ‘face the music’ regarding all of these lies and misrepresentations they have been making about Wade and James, and we welcome that day before the jury.”

Howard Weitzman, attorney for the Estate of Michael Jackson, reiterated to Billboard that the ruling does not revive lawsuits against the estate itself. However, he said, "the Court of Appeal’s ruling merely revived lawsuits against Michael Jackson’s companies, which absurdly claim that Michael’s employees are somehow responsible for sexual abuse that never happened. The ruling was the result of a change in the law signed by Governor Newsom that extends the time for genuine victims to file claims. The Court of Appeal specifically did not address the truth of these false allegations, and we are confident that both lawsuits will be dismissed and that Michael Jackson will be vindicated once again."

The UK 'Sun' as usual gets their headline wrong:

NEW ***** TRIAL? Michael Jackson’s Leaving Neverland accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck can now sue singer’s estate.

^ As Captain America says - LANGUAGE!

Anyways, I was having a good day until I saw this news. It is not surprising but it still saddens me.

This year will be challenging for MJ fans (although I don't hink it will be as bad as last year) and we need to stay vigilant. And we will definitely need this forum, so if you haven't had a chance to donate, I encourage you to do so.

The media, as per usual, will only focus on what favours Robson and Safechuck. Our job will be to push back. So glad that we have the infrastructure in place to do just that.

The fight isn't over, but I am here for it!!!

No keep having a good day. In the minds of many, this just proved what we have been saying LYING TO TRY TO GET MONEY. I do not see no main stream media talking about it yet (I give them until now and Tuesday);however, I see the usual gossip lying media sites headline (I wont click on them) with their headlines as if this is some great win. NOT. This just mean it can go back through the steps. When MJ win this, watch how the media will down play it like they did when the Estate won their part against HBO in Oct. Most people (other than haters and selection of the media) see through this.

BBC reporting it. We knew this months back so its nothing new. See you in ten years!

Agree of course mez was onboard. This is just offical recognition of it.

Is there any detailed information about what role Mesereau has? And when he joined in etc? Thats probably what I want to know most right now!

Reuters are reporting the news about the case, and apparently they couldn’t find a better photo for their article than this one:

'Leaving Neverland' accusers can pursue lawsuits against Michael Jackson's companies: appeals court https://t.co/ou7YzylhKi pic.twitter.com/7AccIVQsvU
— Reuters (@Reuters) January 4, 2020

Their agenda is clear: Guilty until proven innocent. I wouldn’t even call it a subliminal message at this point anymore.

Go to Twitter and let them know what you think about this, or, if you’re not on Twitter, here’s the link to their contact form:

They allow file attachments, so why not send them a couple of good photos to choose from? ;)

Yep, they couldn't be more obvious. I think at this point this is more pathetic than infuriating, which is saying a lot considering how low they've sunk (about Sun level).

What's interesting apart from the not too elaborate manipulation: real convicted serial criminal monsters don't get the treatment MJ gets. Even if someone believes in what MJ's accused of the hate towards him is way too disproportionate, which further confirms it's rather a reaction against his personality (more precisely what he represents to some) than to the accusations.

I hope someday someone will study this phenomenon because it's says a lot about our society. Even though we already got Is It Scary which is a perfect analysis of the situation...

All very intentional. Sinister/guilty/perv.... chose the pic to push the agenda. They dont even care to try and hide their obvious bias because they (the media) know they can do what they want

100%. I've thought this too. It's mere convenience for them, that these allegations should exist. To be clear, I don't mean them all, but definitely a proportion of that mob.

find it hilarious Safechuck is against MJJ ventures which wasn't even a thing when the 'abuse' took place

Snippet from fans on Twitter- 'informed speculation'! NB Apparently judges ALWAYS set a planned trial date, so that in itself doesn't indicate that a trial will take place. It's just part of the justice 'admin' to set provisional dates:

Expect Judge to set a trial date for early/mid 2021. Estate has every right to take discovery about LN AND courts are super backed up anyway that it would probably not be possible to set trial sooner. Case will take a month to get back to trial court

The above is: An Oldie, But A Goodie!!!!!

The Estate knew what was going to happen and were prepared for it, in my opinion. That's why they confirmed that they would be pursuing NEW DISCOVERY.

And now "Discovery" is my new favorite word, i.e. Robson's EXTENSIVE public statements and interviews and his appearance in the mockumentary.

I have seen many, many, many of Robson's public statements and interviews. I just don't see him being able to "evolve" them all away. That's why I continue to say that they DO NOT want a trial, they were hoping for a quick settlement.

THAT, in my opinion, is a Classic Example of "throwing EVERYTHING at the wall, hoping something will stick!!"

A little comparison between Weinstein and MJJ trial 'related activity':

Weinstein today:
One of his lawyers, Arthur Aidala, asked the judge to delay the trial or at least allow more time for jury selection because Monday’s charges would make it impossible to choose a fair and impartial jury this week.

“I cannot think of one time, one case where the day of jury selection this type of prejudice is being cast against a criminal defendant,” said Aidala, who held up copies of the New York Times, Daily News and New York Post with articles about the Los Angeles charges.

“I don’t see how anyone could answer honestly that they’re fair and impartial after this stuff is drilled into their brains,” he said.

MJJ 31 Jan 2005:
As jury selection neared, competition for a scoop undermined Melville's efforts. The 1,900-page transcript of the case prosecutors presented to the grand jury that indicted Jackson was leaked this month to thesmokinggun.com and ABC News.

Among other things, the transcript included the accuser's testimony that Jackson closed his eyes tightly while molesting him on a bed, and that the pop star ignored the child's warnings that he shouldn't drink alcohol because of his medical condition.
