Sure. And Tohme hired them ALL.
In my lifetime, I've realized that there are few "heroes." (Michael is at the top of my list in the "hero" department.) There are very few people who will risk themselves, their incomes, their families, and their lives, if it comes to that, to do the right thing. There are always excuses. . . .
I've mentioned Virginia Tech before, and the massacre? I was SO close to it, that I heard the gunfire. I will never forget it. There was this one guy. . his name was Kodrescu. (sp?) An Israeli, and a professor. (He was an older guy. He was a Holocaust survivor.) He heard the gunshots in the corridor. The shooter then was body-slamming the door of his classroom. He braced the door with his own body. He told his students to jump out the window. They did so, one-by-one. They all survived. He saved all those beautiful, young, lives. He saved ALL of them. When the last student had jumped, the professor was killed by a gunshot through the door. It really IS as serious as that. . . . now.
What I hope for now, is for SOMEONE who was in that house to be willing to take the shot through the door? Take it for our precious Michael, and for his children, and even for US, who are grieving so badly and who need justice?
I hope you understand what I'm saying? It really comes down to this. . .
