Welcome louiza! You'll have to tell us how you became a Michael fan when you're posting your artwork.

I went into college on friday with the express intention of taking decent photos of my paintings.... however I got distracted and forgot!
anway, here are a few fairly rubbish quality phone pics both of these ones are not quite finished.

how did i become a fan of michael... well I have always liked his music, and found him intriguing, but I didn't become REALLY interested until a few months ago. I was having a bit of 'painters block', at the end of last year i'd kind of backed myself into a corner by trying to be too conceptual with my work (which is a hazard of going to a London art college I guess......) I ended up thinking about how I went about making work when I was much younger, which mainly consisted of drawing/painting people i really admired, not having to think about rubbish like 'contextual framework' blah blah blah. So then i thought, well why can't I make work now in the same way? I started doing some drawings of MJ because of how fascinating he looks- He seriously has the most interesting face ever.... I then ended up lookign at interviews, more of his music etc, and to cut a long story short realised how amazing he really was... and felt disbelief at the wierd discrepancy between the media portrayal of him, and what he was really like- what is plain to see through his music and interviews.

Oh god i'll be quiet now that turned into a bit of an essay!!

Wow, those area really great actually. :D Nice job!
