I dunno who here remembers it, but they released a track called 'Dance Like Michael Jackson' a few years back. Don't think it was released in the UK though.

And, I'm so proud that we've got HMH to #6 (so far) - Here's hoping for a top 5 position.
We all know MJ should be #1 and if HMH is #1 on Sunday, I will be very happy and proud!

We'll find that out on Sunday. They release the chart on Wednesday for midweek and will see the final position on Sunday. Top 10 would be amazing.

I'm proud of us guys, thinking of going to get some more physical copied of the single we need this to be no.1 !! If Sony made a TV ad to promote the album and the single it would deffinatly jump straight to number one !! Come on Sony get promoting like MJthe experience is, the advert for that comes on all the time :)

SO happy this is number 6 on itunes UK! I honestly didn't think this would hit top 10 without much promo/music video/x factor etc but its better than all my expectations! Fantastic! Keep it climbing! :)

(also, my CD single finally arrived today! I was singing along to the instrumental in my car - haha! :) )

Top 10 in the first week would be amazing but I think that that won't happen. Next week after album release it will probably jump into top 10. If this week Hold My Hand charts in top 10, number one next week is possible!

Midweeks are available daily (leaked) from Tuesday every week. I have posted them on this forum the last few days..

The wednesday chart update on radio1 confirmed what i had already posted here.

Day1 = #14
Day2 = #13
Day3 = #11
Day4 = #11 (no midweeks were leaked at the usual place but digital spy suggests the song held @ #11)

The midweek chart shows the song at #11 TODAY. That includes sales up to Thursday night. The song jumped 4 places since the last data would have been gathered for the chart, so it's possible to get a Top10 entry on Sunday. It will of course depend on how the song holds up all day tomorrow.

We have until 12:00 tonight to get Hold My Hand into the top 5..even to get it to the no.1 spot. Everyone that has a facebook account could request the song on this page it will literally take you less than 1 minute. The link will take you to a request page for a request show thats taking place at 4pm today on BBC Radio1-the biggest national radio show in the uk.

yes!! At the moment it is the most requested song on the page, lets keep it that way. Just thinking, if we get it played that could produce more downloads, this is the time when it really matters if we want it to chart high in the top 10.

Well I'd love to, but as a new facebook user I can see the page but have no idea how to add a request to it...doesn't seem to be any obvious way. Please could posters asking for action be kind to older and (in my case) less technically savvy members and give a bit more info about what to do when you get to the page? Sorry to be dense!
