you guys, I've been dealing with insomnia for a several weeks now and IDK what to do. I am actually generally very healthy, have always been a light sleeper and sometimes have issues sleeping but it's gotten really bad. I have tried so many things and I finally (don't judge) got a marijuana pen and started smoking at night to fall asleep. It helps, but a "Good" night is 5 hrs.. Which is a great improvement sadly but I'm just SO done with this issue.
Honestly at its worst point, I felt a unique understanding of what Michael could have felt (mine was 10 days straight with 1-2 hrs of sleep a night).. for those who have not dealt with it before.. Just know it's a gift not to!
Your lack of sleep messes with your nerves, and your nerves keep you up.. viscous cycle! in the middle of the night hyperventilating with anxiety without a specific reason etc. hormones all out of wack! my skin got lighter, face started to sink in, and I could cry on a dime.
I do not like smoking and hope to find a real resolution soon!
