I just checked some of the prices, and they seem to be lower for MJ costumes when compared to previous auctions. Even with the added 25% commission.

And keep in mind those are "signed" items... compare to the big 2009 & 2010 auctions.


Im sure he is. No one would be buying all those iconic costumes to store in their closet

Qbees, didn't you write that MLB told you museums weren't interested...? That was one of the reasons given for the auction remember...?


Anyway, if we are lucky, MLB will take all this money and go away...far away. And we will never hear from him again. :dropdead:

Huh, seem I won a bid on a signed Bad Tour jacket from Gothenburg. I placed a bid and went to bed and woke up being a winner. Ayy.. cost me a lot of money, haha.

Outside the brackets is what Bush gets for the clothes, inside the brackets is what the buyer pays. The difference is auction's commission.

iconic or not, if it's easy to get, more to come, the value will be decreased. Other dead celebs have only few items being auctioned because their belongings are in the rightful person's hands that valued the items more than money. Michael's items are the easiest to get, most being put on sale, everything for Sale.

Yes, most his iconic clothes can still sell tens of thousands, thanks to Michael's star power. This thriller jackets is not red, but if today this jacket is the only MJ items being auctioned since Michael's death, how much it would be?

Oh lord NO! Gaga already wore the Pearl Jacket from the Oscars didn't she? So I'm sure she will do the same with the rest or be wearing them in her vids?! :ermm: Hopefully she will at least send them to some museum or something?!
