It was good.
I sat by myself the first meeting because I'm really shy and I don't know some of the people. The one I'm going to is the University ward which is basically for people 18-30. The family wards are of all ages but when you graduate high school you go to the University Ward till you either hit 30 or till you get married. There's still small cliques you could say but I'm meeting more people. I'm a very shy person and don't go out of my way to socialize if you can believe it :lol::D

I'm not religious or anything.. but i've always wanted to experience
those kind of things :)

It is hard to meet people at times. I'm not good at it.

The thing is the church wants people in their 20's to get married. I have friends who are just hitting 20 or are 20 that are married and starting families. So the University Ward is church yes but it's mostly so people 18+ are around people their ages and are able to meet someone and get married and yada yada :lol:
One of the first things RM(Return Missionaries) are asked are , Are you seeing anyone?

It's a very good church but lol when your still single at 20 and have all these people even younger than you at 18 getting married and starting families, it's kinda intimidating.

Reminds me of family gatherings. I always get it. "Are you courting?" is the question asked. One of my cousins told me recently at a family gathering that I'd never have any kids. I laughed. I might not be seeing anyone but I'm not dead yet and my reproductive organs are in good working order thank you very much :D

They say it's a place for young adults to get together and find out how life is outside of the family home. It's still fun but still intimidating when everyone around you is dating someone and you feel like wow, I'm all alone right now aren't I:lol:
Everyone still gets along and people are nice it's just awkward sometimes.

:lmao: one of the first things my Dad of all people asked me when I got back from the first time going to the University Ward was if I found a guy :lol: The same Dad that as soon as I reached 16 went crazy thinking about his only daughter dating. :doh:

I'm looking for ideas for macroing btw:p not just blabbing :lol:

Remember, Dad's never think you actually have sex. It's a blank place in their mind.

I have a Catholic friend and she was embarresed to tell her Mum she was pregnant even after she'd been married 2 years as then she'd have to admit to her Mum that she and her husband had sex :lol:
