Yes I've heard of that. When we were talking about listening to music our instructor got really angry at anyone who listened to loud music.

I know allll about it believe me. I don't always listen to it loud but sometimes it's hard not to!

But I believe I already have damage due to the fact that I was in the marching band for 4 years and had loud drums and brass players (as I was one of em) going off in my ear.

When I'm 60 you will receive a big thank you card ...or something like that for saving my ears.:lol:

Actually I've been able to hear parts of the music better now that I never heard before. When I first started hearing these things I would take my headphones off and look around to see what the heck was going on but found out it was the music. :lol: I started hearing little bits of percussion and different nuances I never knew were part of the music. It's amazing!

I first started listening to my music loudly because my brother would have his music blasting in the room next door and my Dad had his TV going so I wasn't ever able to hear the words or instrumentals going on so I turned it up. So now when I turn the music up loud it's to tune out the people around me.

I accidentally hit the 'Random Image' button on roflbot and I saw the Pope. When I was tube-ing it home tonight (not reading my book although it looked like I was) the idea popped into my head - Holy Permission Batman!
