*ahem* ROOOOOARRRR PEOPLE!!!!

missed you guys :huggy: but had awesome fun! conference was cool, not as depressing as I thought. The was one lecture on locust neurophysiology, how they exist in two forms, one solitary where they hate other locusts and dnt eat loads and another called gregarious where they swarm together and destroy crops. The funniest bit is that to make a locust gregarious you can either inject it with serotonin or 'crowd' them together or the best one: tickle its hind legs for 2 hours :lol: I soooooo wanna do that! :D

anyway sorry for the locust rant :D during the poster session I got loads of free stuff from biotech companies, pens and pencils and pathway posters :D and I won a laser pointer (and cream egg) :hungry:

yesterday was kinda scary though cos my friend writes film reviews for a website and I was coerced into watching 'The girl with the dragon tattoo' omg :shock: DO NOT WATCH IT :shock::shock: :shock: I am totally scarred :cry: plus its in swedish with subtitles :blink:

yeah so he bought me italian +cheesecake for giving me post-traumatic stress and then we spent too long dancng around in the rain and missed the last train and had to get a really expensive taxis home. :lol:

so how have y'all been :D

Hi Katie, and hi everyone :huggy:

Wow! Sounds like you've had an eventuful couple of days :) I'm good. Didn't get a lick of sleep last night. Just couldn't get comfortable in any position. Finally fell asleep for a few hours around 4:30. Hopefully I'll have better luck tonight. I'm currently looking and drooling over new phones. I want a new phone so bad, but I have to wait another 9 months for my contract to expire :(
