I received my Steelbook copy today. It plays perfectly on my player.

Ok I've seen the bluray and think the picture is great, but one thing I noticed on the UK edition of the film, they've edited a few seconds out of the film! The scene where Mr. Big is going to put the needle in Katie isn't on the bluray release and that's odd!

this scene are cut in the german edition too

^^ we've discussed abt this here, some posts earlier. I guess, there is one issue of it, everywhere it's missing.
About this amazon edition - the steelbook is really cool

But so-called-booklet contains only screenshoots from the movie, IMO captured from dvd release, because the quality of those photos isn't HD. But still, it's nice to have it:)

Yes, I'd like to know too. I heard it works on a PS3, but I don't have a PS3. I have a Samsung Blu-Ray player.

Any confirmations that this will play on a non-PS3, U.S. Blu-Ray Player?

^^ I don't have PS3, but the sticker on it says "Plays in hi-def on playstation3 and blu-ray players". On the box there are no infos about region restrictions, can't find them on hmv website either, but here it says it's region A, B, C

I can happily report that the UK Moonwalker Blu-ray will play in my U.S. Blu-ray player. I've just got a normal, run-of-the-mill Blu-ray player, so if it worked for me, I see no reason that it shouldn't work for anyone else with a U.S. (Region A) Blu-ray player.
I'm using an American-bought (Region A) Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray player. No special setup or configuration was needed and I didn't use any hacks or other modifications. It played the UK Moonwalker Blu-ray as easily as any Blu-ray disc bought in the U.S. In other words, it just worked.

its out but its only available in europe. you have to buy it online .. like hmv.com or amazon.co.uk

I got the NTSC version today so now I have both the PAL & NTSC.

I thought bluray didn't have the PAL - NTSC difference and it was just for the DVDs.

It will work. There's no difference between a PS3 and a regular Blu-ray player. It playing on a US PS3 shows that it's region free and will play at any blu-ray player.

:wild: Thank you all so much!!! I just ordered mine and I am so excited. I have this on vhs, but I haven't had a VCR in years, and I haven't seen Moonwalker since I was a kid!!!! I can't wait, now all I need is a Blu-ray player, Ha ha!!

Yes, as long as it works in the U.S. players, make sure of that. I got a DVD from the Philippines but I made sure it worked in the U.S.
I just got done watching it and it is amazing! I haven't seen it in so long -it was sooo precious and the DVD version is outstanding. I'm sure in Blue Ray it will be even better!!:clapping:

Just got my copy from HMV today.

Yes, it does work on any old U.S. Blu-Ray player. The picture quality is very good but you must consider it was made in 1987 and the transfer isn't going to be like a movie that was just made a year ago.

U.S. fans - order from HMV.
