Not only is this book sick and deluded, the WRITER IS TOO!!, he's not even a friggen expert in Psychology, and i can tell you with the stuff i have learned, Michael shows NO traits of being a pedophile

No need for fans to spam the Estate
The Estate has responded to emails saying they know about
this and they will do everything is legally in their power to stop it.

This has been happening for quite a few years I believe this is the THIRD
time it has come up and been discussed here on the board. the book resurfaces
but doesnt get much attention or sales and fades off again into the darkness.

I agree. The best strategy is to limit public discussion of this book. He is self-publish, therefore the book will have limited press...So let's not help publicize this junk.

Contrary to earlier post, IT WILL BE AVAILABLE on AMAZON and other major online retailers. Self-publishing doesn't mean no outlets...many authors are publishing their books on Amazon, the cheapest & most popular way to reach your target readers.

And I would add a 3rd action plan to your list:

We started emailing the author directly and tell him we are on to him and we will not buy this book: [COLOR="blue"] info@dangerousbooks.co.uk [/COLOR] and I think as many of us as possible should contact him by email.

He is counting on FANS making a lot of noise, like we did for the autopsy show & other campaigns....but we won't fall for his scheme. We will not help publicize his book...by having a media battle.

Self-publishing is the cheapest alternative for him...so I don't expect our emails or anything to stop him from releasing the book...but with very limited resources, it won't go mainstream. Meaning people, outside of hardcore MJ fans won't be exposed to this filth.


For those asking what the estate can do: NOT MUCH.

The author is using his FREEDOM OF SPEECH. He can write whatever he wants...as long as he doesn't slander a living soul. Perfect example is Gutierrez writing that book full of lies about the 1993 case. MJ did sue him and win AFTER the book came out, but he wasn't able to prevent it from being released. Same for Bob Jones' book....or Diane Dimond. You can't temper with someone's freedom of speech.

And now that MJ is gone, no one can sue for defamation or slander, because a dead person cannot be slandered.

The estate can write , just like us, appealing to common sense & decency (like they did for Discovery Autopsy Show)...but legally, they don't have a leg to stand on. And I don't suggest the estate gets involved at all...Because this man would run to the media ...and get the free publicity he desperately needs to reach his audience & general public.

Only the fans can make a difference by NOT buying the book, and limit online discussions because we all know TMZ is always lurking.

Very good idea Elusive. I don't know if people are aware of this but there was a MAJOR scandal involving Amazon & pedophilia this past November. It made several news outlets including CNN , NYT and WSJ.

i'd like to give a pat on the back to members who did something here, but I think we all know that's not enough, more importantly we really do need to stay vigilant on this issue and continue to be pro-active when needs be.
