This is not something that needs to be released at any point soon. You all realize that, right? Hopefully there are photos from this that can be used in future projects years from now long before a film is released on them. Wow. That would be sad if it were done back-ass-wards.

Not really. I would love to see the footage of Michael behind the scenes but I'm not sure this is good for a documentary. I don't really care what the others have to say except maybe the photographer.

A "Making of" is still a documentary given it, well, documents the making of it.

Im thinking of a making of like the others we have ie stanger in moscow ITC dangerous short films released back in the day. Behind the scenes short film rather than a full on documentry which imo is very diff

I know what you mean, but that sort of media is still classified as documentary, no matter how short or long. Just letting you know, that's all

As long as the Estate has approval of the image and what is said in the doc, I'm OK with it. You never know what horrible things people can do with film footage.

The director Craig Williams posted the documentary's poster on FB on August 29:
"Happy Birthday Michael we are almost there few more weeks!"

I guess the settlement is coming between him and the Estate.

It's a lot better to wait and see. Yes the settlement talks are ongoing and the next status update is due November 18th. However they also recently agreed about a protective order about discovery.

So the settlement isn't certain yet, we have no idea what the settlement might entail. and even if we assume the settlement is finalized and the documentary gets released, it looks like it would take more than a few weeks.
