People have strong opinions about stuff period. It's their own opinions, keep doing the positive things you can do to refute that.
The thing about people's negative opinion's about MJ is not only about the molestation allegations... Before the allegations, some people said he didn't want to be black. Before then, people said he was too sensitive or pansy....Before then, they said he was homosexual....Before the surgery, they said he was ugly....Just understand that sometimes people suck....smh
It would have always been SOMETHING....
Not sure if that would make you feel better, but I think what makes Michael stand out is that, you can tell some of that stuff bothered him...because he was human after all, but what really stands out to me is in the end, even in the end, it did not stop him from being the best person he could be.
He was a great father, he still supported his mom (and others who lived there with her), he still helped charities, he still created music, he still rehearsed....I know plenty of folks who went thru a hell of a whole lot less, who stopped doing everything completely after ONE thing didn't go their way.... MJ did not sound a horn and said, "Look at me, I'm still great even though everyone keeps dissing me...."
He did it silently, in his own way....I think that was GREAT!
So try not to be upset over someone else's loud and sometimes crude opinion. It may be hard, but it can be done.
