Nope. If the family were that concerned about how MJ fans felt about them, then they would have stopped that farce of a 'Tribute' by now!

Most rational thinking MJ fans only have a problem with his family when they do questionable shady things (Toy's crazy claims against the estate, Obvious shady high ticket prices for 'tribute', forming questionable 'trust funds' for PPB, associating with Ex gay porn producers and other Shady folks and cutting shady deals with them etc...).

But when they do positive things such supporting Mike's kids in donating Mike's art to a hospital, or Jerm's positive well written book (which has done well already compared to Toya's flop book), then you won't see any real outcry from them.

I imagine Michael wanted these children to find out on their own who they are meant to be and get things on their own merit. Not because of who their father happened to be.

I can't believe that they would stoop so low. Michael always knew, didn't he?

I just feel like this is too soon for them to be in the spot light

I'm 5 and half years older than Prince, but even I know that he ain't Michael! He ain't even a 'star', why would anyone want an autograph from 14 year old who is just famous because of his dad?. I don't get it.

To say this would be Michael's worst nightmare come true would be an understatement. Sure Prince is doing a great thing here but those two vultures surrounding him should be cause for concern for everyone. Those two mens association with Michael Jackson's son is very nauseating! Is Prince really in Germany with just these two as chapparones? and how nice, theres the coffee table book by Katherine...wth.

What the heck is happening here? and whats to come? This is not good, not good at all with these hyenas in the picture.

When I first heard the news I didn't think Prince attending this thing to honor his father could possibly turn into something horrible...especially with NO family members in attendance. I thought the kid was asserting his independence and hoped the German family Michael visited in 2006 or 2007 would be around to make him feel at home. And then I see these pics. Unbelievable.

The kid card. Prince is now being used to sell the book and no doubt he believes what he's doing is a good thing and a way to honor his father. Smh

I feel the idea to send him a dossier may not work for the simple fact these ppl have access. Whatever the fans send to him, people like Dieter will find a way to explain it so he's not a bad guy. Kinda like Auntie Latoya suddenly felt the need to write that book explaining how and why she called her brother a pedo (forced by her abusive/controlling/threatening husband) and now tweets about forgiveness so vehemently. There's probably nothing we can tell those kids that can't be explained away behind closed doors by these ppl. They have the children's ear and are able to feed their desires to honor their father and/or get into movies.I'm not saying it's not worth a shot. I'm just saying it's a long shot...and possibly on the line of what's proper. I mean, they're kids. Mature in some ways, yes...but still just kids. I guess ppl should follow their conscience on the idea.

IMO...the only way those kids are going to find out who really has their best interests at heart (and their father's legacy) is when they start saying "NO". Trust. The day they don't agree to something and/or start denying a request for money/attendance/whatever is the day they will see who's true blue...who's really there for them and not becuz of money to be made in some shape or form...whether under the guise of charity or not.

Seems prayer is not enuf...but I won't stop. :( Any other time, this event and the photos might be nice...but seeing Prince surrounded by these ppl and hawking a book that puts money in Mann's pocket leaves a bad taste.
 
I love Prince.. He is such a fine young man.. Very well-spoken for a 14 year old. MJ would be so proud. Mike did a wonderful job with those kids in the short time he was with them

Well, if you believe the report from PEOPLE magazine, Prince went to Berlin without any family members, just an entourage....and by the looks of it that entourage is Deiter Weisner, Howard Mann and the bodyguard.

I don't like knowing these people are around MJ's kids, it bothers me. Do the members of the family have blinders on or something as it relates to these people? This is sooo wrong!

I believe this lawsuit was eventually dropped, but surely it caused Michael a lot of stress, and Weisner said terrible things about Michael in the complaint. Pretty sure Prince has NO idea about this. . . .

A former adviser to Michael Jackson has filed a $64 million lawsuit against the pop star, alleging breach of contract and fraud.

Dieter Wiesner filed a civil suit against Jackson on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming he paid Jackson, who was acquitted in June of sexual molestation charges, millions of dollars for rights to merchandise his name and likeness that were not Jackson&#8217;s to sell.

The complaint alleges Jackson had sold the rights to another buyer prior to Wiesner, who wound up suing Wiesner. That suit was settled with Wiesner lending Jackson even more money, costing Wiesner a total of $9 million to secure the rights and pay the settlement.

The complaint alleges the rights yielded Wiesner little income because Jackson refused to cooperate and actually interfered with merchandising efforts.
Wiesner also claims Jackson fired several advisers and implored Wiesner to step in around 2002 to serve as a personal manager. Wiesner said he was then rudely and abruptly fired when Jackson&#8217;s criminal problems surfaced in 2003 with allegations the pop stars had an improper relationship with a young cancer survivor.

Jackson was cleared of child molestation charges in June after a four-month trial and has been spending much of his time in Bahrain.

&#8220;True to form, Jackson never paid Wiesner for the countless hours he spent rescuing Jackson from the brink of financial disaster,&#8221; the complaint said.

A lawyer for Jackson was not immediately available for comment.

Love the way Prince has the strip down the side of his pants like his dad. I am so happy that these kids are not forgetting their father and what he was about.

LeGrand testimony from the trial is also very important . the stolen $960.000 from MJ's accounts how he , schaffel and Konitzer were trying hard to remove Branca from their way ,how they hired Legrand to find dirt on Branca , convinced MJ that he was conspiring with sony against him and eventually got Mike to fire many of his previous advisors .

What is happening is that the scumbags are being introduced to the kids, the same way Michael was introduced to the scumbags. Once they introduced the scum to Michael and the swindling began, the people who introduced the scum said, "look how come Michael always have people like that around him; he never made good choices with people." Sounds familiar.

They are doing the same thing again. They introduced his kids and connect them with unscrupulous people, and later on when these people have a tight hold on them, they will say, "like father like kids; they too choose the wrong people to work with."

We better get used to this. People recognized Michael had great talents that could generate much money. They will latch on to the kids because they feel the Michael name is affixed to them, and as a result the kids can be used to generate sales, sell tickets, gain viewers, etc.

We cannot blame Wiesner and company, but the family adults who set up this deal. The only good thing is that this wonderful child is doing something for others, something his dad will be proud of.

That's what I thought at first, too, that Prince was exerting some independence, getting away from the family, etc. But now, obviously, the family set this up. Prince is probably clueless, and the general (non-fan) public will be clueless, as well.

This is a nightmare? We all will wake up soon?
 
First I want to say that I think Prince wearing a suit with the arm band is a touching gesture. You can see Michael in him and it's nice to see. Second, I thought Prince doing this was a nice idea but seeing who he is with and the book makes me sad. Everytime something seems positive there is some hidden agenda going on. It's really sad. I don't think we can do anything. I agree that when the kids get older and have more say i think they will find out who really has their and their father's best interests at heart. This is an example of the reason for the frustration and disappointment people feel towards the Jacksons.
 
Unfortunately I found the situation curious from the beginning. Let's face it guys, an underage child is not going to say out of the blue, "I will take my dad's bad lyrics, take a trip with Mann and Wiesner to Germany, and present the lyrics to aid BAMBI."

Someone had to plan how they could make some money and use something Michael, because anything "Michael" will generate more money and public interest. Notice there is always present the connection with charity, e.g., Mann charity, Tribute charity, exploit Prince BAMBI charity. We have to learn that crooks like to affiliate themselves with some charitable organization. They know they can get a lot of money utilizing that cover. I could imagine how much Mann, Wiesner, and Katherine made from this deal!!!!!!!!

The only time I will really get excited about any of the kids charitable work, is when they are of age, and i see them take their own money and plan some charitable endeavor of their own. Right now, any charitable contribution done is advised by someone older who seek to gain something monetary by it; so to me, their charitable work now is not completely from their own self/spirit. They are simply doing other people's biding, although they do it with grace and love.
