What a cute little thread and above all, an awesome idea A special performance in a more private setting sounds interesting.

To be honest wit y'all when I first read the title, my understanding of "private concert" was a bit restrictive, in the sense that I envisioned it as a completely exclusive performance where I was the only member in attendance. Looks like Princess Leia beat me to the........"flippancy" lol.

except that my extra naughty self wouldn't limit the "stage" only at the horizontal line Not only that, but I would be so generous I would let Michael rest and just enjoy himself for once while I put on a bit of a show for him :cheeky:

Leavin' jokes aside, Magicgirl's suggestion is the closest to my own vision.

I would like to hear some love songs or ballads or something new and unreleased or would leave him make his own choice of songs that would fit the small audience. Anyway This is it, speechless, gone too soon would be wellcomed. If the songs were too rocky and loud I would get deaf in a small concert room and wouldn't want all the songs be like that. Not to mention that he would end up dancing on a table if there was not enough space on the stage there or there was no real stage there.

This is it and Speechless definitely are among my favorite songs, of all time, not just from Michael's catalog.

The whole private concert idea does remind me of a real life incident some three years ago or, as others would put it, three weeks ago. I remember talking to an impresario ordering such a private show, but it wasn't for entertainment reasons. My interests in that particular individual were of a rather scientific nature.

For me, the ill-fated ‘HBO Special’ (1995) as it was originally planned to be.

Songs like ‘Beat it’, ‘Dangerous’ (along with Naomi Campbell), ‘Childhood’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, etc. being performed in such an intimate environment (with a different, for the most part, choreography) would have been something totally surrealistic & out of the ordinary.

Yep, this is how I imagined an up-close night with Mike. I didn't choose my favorites, but I really wanted to bring the underrated and personal songs forward so that we are experiencing a other MJ. This concert would be private so there is space for 20-30 lucky fans. The acts before and after the show are really fresh too, but that's my opinion. Boy, would that be a night to never ever forget..
