[FONT=&quot][/FONT]Producer RedOne is spending a lot of time in Las Vegas these days, supposedly working on an album with Michael Jackson, which he can’t talk about. “Honestly, I’m not allowed to talk about Michael at all,” says RedOne, who was born Nadir Khayat in Morocco and now calls Los Angeles home. “I just love him. I’m a big fan of his. There’s something going on, but I can’t talk about it.”

What RedOne can say is he’s spending a lot of time in the recording studio at the Palms.
“The studio, it’s incredible. The sound is amazing,” he says. “And so is Las Vegas. I love Las Vegas. We get a lot of peace of mind in Las Vegas. It’s very nice. It feels good working in Vegas. It’s very convenient, so close to L.A. It’s like a dream world that helps you musically and creatively.”

RedOne also can say he’s working on an album with Toni Braxton, who has been canceling shows at the Flamingo lately because of an undisclosed illness. She’s booked in the showroom until September, when Donny & Marie take over.

The producer also says he is helping to navigate the return of the New Kids on the Block. (After an absence of 14 years, maybe the former boy band should be called New Old Guys on the Block.) And he is working on projects with Akon and Lady Ga Ga (“Big Boy/Big Girl”).

Can you explain what you mean.and why can,t you just say whats on your mind. Are you saying he is working with MJ.
 
I think the list of people "working with MJ" is getting too big.

But one thing is for sure....Michael is working very hard. And if he is working this hard on this album, he must be coming out with something really good. It has to be.

I mean i almost feel like Michael is going for an album with as many number hits as possible. Seems to me, he doesn't want any filler on this album. He wants an all around good album.

And if he has sworn all these people to secrecy, that tells me that he has in his mind a special, surprising way he wants to present this thing to us. And it is not going to be done the ordinary way. I have this feeling the PRESENTATION is gonna be awesome.

The list of people working with MJ isn't too big.

Every person he works with isn't going to end up on the final album haha. He's simply exploring his options and working with whoever he thinks might be able to bring something good to the table. The man knows what he's doing.

And yes, I agree with everything else you said:

Haha, according to LaToya's interview a couple of days ago she said Michael is doing really well, and that he is in Vegas right now, and she says he is not ready to work right now. She said she hopes one day he will work again, but right now he's not ready. She says when its in your blood you always end up going back to it though.

So who knows. Maybe he is in Vegas doing things other than music. But that wouldnt explain why every artist on the face of the earth says MJ is currently working on a new album and that its gonna be awesome....
 
It'd be pretty lame if Raymone Baine released a statement saying that three singles are supposed to be out by year's end (this was last year) and that he was working with these artists and all that, and in reality he's doing nothing. I'm pretty sure he's far along on this project. Janet probably knows MJ wants his project to be secret so she's just blowing smoke. They are pretty smart like that. The Jacksons often say a lot while really telling you nothing at all.

Isn't redone a producer for Akon or part of Akon's company or something :unsure:

:mello: Wow, that is a totally bizarre quote, given that as you said "every artist" says it's happening as well as MJ himself says it's happening.

she may have meant "working" as in "videos, performing, promotion" kind of thing... its undeniable he is in the studio making music. undeniable.
