DR. CONRAD MURRAY SEEKS BOOK DEAL, OPPOSITION PLANNING DAMNING TELL-ALL, SOURCE SAYS

Dr. Conrad Murry, Michael Jackson's former personal doctor -- accused of involuntary manslaughter after he admitted to administering a lethal dose of the sedative Propofol to the singer -- is ready to clear the record and clear his name in a book he claims will prove his innocence.

A source tells X17 Murray is shopping a book that will explain his relationship with Michael and delve into the medical details behind his treatment of the singer. We're told there will be details about the Propofol, about Michael's insurance policy with concert promoter AEG and about Michael's final moments during which Murray allegedly failed to perform CPR properly and, allegedly, made other phone calls before calling 911 when Jackson appeared not to be breathing.

Meanwhile, our source says Murray is writing the book not only to clear his name amid the pending trail in which he faces a possibly four-year prison term if he's found guilty, he's also doing it to counter another book he says is in the works, that aims at destroying the doctor's credibility and blaming him fully for Jackson's death.

Murray is said to be immensely worried about his legacy and how history will treat him -- another impetus for him to write a book: "Conrad wants his son to see that his dad was innocent. He doesn't want his boy to grow up thinking his dad was a murderer," the source tells X17online exclusively.

A court of law, however, will be charged with making that legal decision. A judge and jury will hear Murray's case in September now that a judge postponed the trial. The jury selection process that was already underway will likely be thrown out and all 171 potential jurors dismissed so a new selection process can start September 8, with opening statements expected on the 20th.

This stuff is what bothers me on top of everything else with this case. I mean seriously, what the....?! Why is this allowed with a trial coming up?

All just my opinion.

Even if this story isn't true now I always believed it would happen. That is why in the end he will get what he wanted-money. Not guilty or guilty he will be inundated for interviews and then the money game begins. Either way he was going to write a book and become the millionaire he always wanted to be. I know New York has the Son of Sam Law, where someone found guilty can not profit from their crime but wasn't sure about California.
 
That’s why Michael’s family should have been putting more effort into making the strongest civil case they could possibly put together against Murray so that every dime he makes can be seized but no. They are far too busy teaming up with the porn king and fighting Michael’s estate.

I wouldn't be surprised if Murray is writing a book, he's desperate and greedy. How can he still think he's innocent. He did a whole lot of things wrong. He better go to jail.
 
omg this angers me so much. he murders our sweet michael but then gets to write a book full of lies
of how innocent he is. oh god that is sickning. michael isn't here anymore because of him. I have 3 young kids
who's ages are 2 and ahalf, 15 months and 4 months, all are major michael fans and I have to explain one day what happened to michael because of murray but yet he gets to write a book proclaiming his innocense? this is sickning:no:
 
so we have Murray, Latoya, and Klein writing books? anyone else? I may as well jump on that bandwagon. $$$
 
His lawyers wouldn't be stupid enough to allow that with a civil suit pending and a criminal trial. Murray is guilty as sin. Mike was alive and well when he left rehearsal. He hooked up Murray and was dead that morning. There is no one else responsible but Murray. If Murray had been paying attention to his patient he would've known he was having trouble and then maybe all of this could've been avoided. He was not paying MJ any attention whatsoever, so he had no clue when he stopped breathing.
 
Only the most stupid defendent would write a book before/during a trial. The pros would have a field day.and when hes convicted u cant make money off your crime and no one will care when hes sharing a cell with bubba.

Yet another act that shows how desperate the defence are interms of their p.r games.i doubt this story is nothing more than p.r.as even his lawyers arent that stupid
 
If this is true the family need to make sure that in any civil case they make sure that Murray can never be allowed to profit from Michael's death.

Interesting choice of words. He chooses the word 'murderer' instead of 'accidently killing michael' or 'manslaughterer' or 'reckless doctor.'

Murder is CLEARLY on his subconscious. Whether he is the real murderer of the just the fall guy.

I BET he's the one writing it... Hell yes, a lot of those pricks publish books with their names on it but a 'ghostwriter' has done all the work...

Maybe, the prick can see if he can get a bookdeal with the Dummies team ;)

What the hell. There's so many things wrong with this, This angers me. I hope this NEVER happens. He says he's going to try to clear his name but this book isn't going to be about just him. I can already tell from what I read from the description. It's going to be about Michael and his relationship with him, blah blah. So he's going to clear his name and what....trash on Michael's? I can already tell that this would be a huge negative on Michael's part. Murray doesn't deserve the money or the creditability or the pity. What he deserves is jail time.

I so bad want peace for Michael. This isn't fair.
