Hi everyone! I've been a member of MJJC for a while now, and I just realized that I have failed to post any of my drawings to the FanArt section of this wonderful community! How could I?! LOL, you didn't miss much, but anyway, here they are now!

I don't usually do celebrity fanart. In fact, Michael is the only celebrity whose face has been drawn by my pencil. I am more of a history fanart person rather than a famous face fanart person, to be thoroughly honest. Michael, however, is more part of history than a celebrity, in my opinion, so I thought I should draw accordingly.

I am in no way a professional artist, so I ask that you not judge me too harshly. I'm self-taught and don't have any comprehensible technique--I just do it all without thinking too much about it. So, here is the product of all of that.

This is a pencil sketch of Michael. The pose is from the 2007 photoshoot he did with EBONY magazine. I just wanted to try my hand at sketching it:

This is a sketch of Paris Jackson, Michael's beautiful daughter, when she spoke at the memorial. I was so moved by the moment that I just wanted to capture it.

This is a coloured pencil drawing of Michael and Lisa from their vacations in France. This was based on one of the pics from one of my MJ magazines:

This last one is also of Michael and Lisa. 100% Hello Kitty pt. 5 mm lead. This one did not come from any magazine. The idea came from my head. I combined Michael's pose from the HIStory tour promo with a pic. of Lisa. This is my best MJ work by far, I think. Hurray for school library scanners, too.

I do hope to make more. The quality of some of the firsts is a little iffy because I didn't have a scanner, so I had to take pictures of the drawings with a camera to get them on the PC.

The last one is of considerably better resolution because I used my school library's scanner. Unfortunately, that broke shortly after that lol. It wasn't due to me, though. >.>
It was actually the OS which failed, not the scanner. They screwed up the OS trying to install Windows 7. It failed lol.
 
Hey dont worry about it.. You can continue to draw more. I'm hoping a collection of work from you once you got yourself a scanner or something that could upload your work ^^
 
I love your art...I like the way you feel the emotion as to the picture you are drawing.....just beautiful...:)

Oh I hate scanning. It usually looks better in reality...

Thank you! I would say that is the main thing, more than technique, my interest and ability is to portray emotion through my work. Doing this sort of thing has helped me cope throughout my life, I must say.

I'm glad you enjoyed my work. :)
