Prince, Paris and Bigi News and Pictures (Please Avoid Tabloid Articles and Paparazzi Photos)

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

From Paris' instagram:
parisjacksoni would very much like to address something here. i realize that a very very large portion of the followers i have are people that highly dislike me and very much enjoy to write negative things about what i say and do. it's alarming and a little scary how a small thing i do blows up because the negative followers try to micromanage and control what i do, and there was something i did to piss them off that they don't agree with. now for example, if a complete and utter stranger goes onto a close friend of mine's account to get a photo of me, i'd like to think it's fair for me to say something about it. yet if i do, all of a sudden i'm a raging and ungrateful bitch with an enormous ego and attitude, and all of a sudden the good things i do never happened. i think it's a very black and white, all or nothing type of deal here, and if that's the case, i'd rather not be using social media. it's getting crazy again, like it did a few years ago when i took a 3 year break from social media. the ridicule and slander that is on this site is no better, and usually even worse, than the awful things written in the tabloids. i find that very sad. another thing i would like to address is if anyone says something rude or hurtful, their account is blocked. i said it before and i guess no one listened and i'm getting hell for "hurting people" by blocking them "for no reason." i had reason, and i clarified it. i stand by that. further more if anyone that doesn't like me is following this account, i urge you to please just unfollow. if what i do angers you i really don't want you to see it because that just encourages more anger and hate. i try to do everything i can with love and humor, sometimes it doesn't come across that way and i genuinely apologize for that. i understand that people may read what i write in a bitchy and rude voice, so i'll try to be more clear with the messages i put out there. once again, if you don't like me please don't waste your time on me.

Wow, Paris is so articulate. She did a good job expressing herself here. I can totally understand where she is coming from. How exasperating.

Paris Jackso? ?@ParisJackson

it's all about L O V E, right? if you're a moonwalker, prove it. the more hate you spread, the more of a hypocrite you are. love love love

Sad that paris felt the need to post that message.. just let the woman breathe!

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

Found this about what happens. It`s from ivyivy (not our ivy) but sure someone who doesn`t want to attack Paris

"Well it wasn't on her IG account and quite honestly it was quite unneeded. Total teenage drama.

A fan - who obviously sounds very young - took two pictures (one from paris and one from her friends public account) and combined and posted it. Paris's BF took the picture and posted it on his account. So this fan writes "thanks for reposting it" and paris replies by "thanks for stealing our pics".

Now "stealing" was over the top. Both pictures were posted publicly. If you search for parisjackson on IG, you will see there are a lot of fans that copy, repost, edit her pictures. She posts some fan edits to her IG as well. All of these fans of her want to get her attention, that she likes their pictures, comments, follows them etc. So in other words I'm quite sure this young fan had no malice. The fan was probably happily reposting new paris pictures and was being happy that Paris's BF posted something she did. This wasn't a hater posting a negative thing. This was a fan who maintains a page to be a source of news about Paris and calls her her "idol" and "makes big smile on her face". This was a young fan who adores Paris. So again "stealing" comment was over the top, singling this fan when thousands do the same thing was over the top. When Paris got called out she posted that "it's not that dramatic" comment that you can see posted before. Perhaps she did intend that "stealing" to be a joke, sarcasm and the fan was acting dramatically. But paris doesn't help herself much with the language and attitude she shows. She could have just said "hey chill it was a joke" and calm down the situation. she didn't need to write "delete your account, shit, butthurt" etc and make the matters worse. She didn't need to even write that first comment. She is in public eye and have fans/followers. So who cares if a loving fan took and reposted a public picture?

Now Paris is right in one regard. she has followers that are extremely negative and highly critical of her. that must be annoying to deal with. So I understand her complaints in that regard. However sometimes it's her that fan the flames and then complain."

This situation shows one thing, IMO. The hate and negativity that people send to Paris gets to her. And as the result she hurts others…

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

The problem is fans think that they "know" Paris personally but they don't and I think that's what irritates Paris the most and I don't blame her. The poor girl is always under scrutiny from the press bout who she should be and try make her be "unjackson" cuz they want her to not love her father and forget bout him. She has made it clear that will never happen but having so much people trying to get into her ear must hurt her so much and as fans of her father we must protect her but at the same time keep some distance and let her be her

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

I would think most of those ppl are teenage kids who do nothing but sit on social media all day. Mjs majority fanbase are adults with lives of their own not 12 year olds who think following a "celeb" means they know them

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

^ I've seen people who seem to be in their late 40s attacking them on twitter before.

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

Yeah im sure there is some saddos like that either plain out mj haters trolling the kids or maybe some of the few nutjob fans like say i dunno joanne thome (sp) but imo i bet thats the minority.

Yes I think she may even know it`s not a healthy thing how is exposing herself on social media but for me she seems to be addicted, you know it`s not good but you can`t live without it.

I think you have them both 40s attacking her and 40s adoring and encouraging everything she does.

In other words, just like any other 18-year-old out there  You are being ridiculous.

Yes, Paris acts like a typical teenager. But I'm afraid "everyone are doing this way, so I'll do the same" is not the best excuse for mistakes in any age and it won't make Paris social life any better or easier, IMO. There always is a reality of who You are... If anything is not everyone's business, than don't show it, as simple as that. If you did show it then to be offended for the picture from public account to become more public is really childish. It would be more logical to ask your close friend not to post your pictures, I guess.
Somehow I feel sorry for the fan... I know Paris has a lot to deal with but I can only imagine how hurt someone was. What if she basically hurt a child, was it worth it?

Paris is allowed to make mistakes. She doesn't need any "excuse" for that. I'm so tired of Michael Jackson fans who refuse to accept that Paris is her own person and not an extension of Michael. She doesn't owe you a damn thing. The fact that she even has "fans" is ridiculous. If you're so bothered by whatever Paris posts on social media, just don't follow her. It's as simple as that. I'm sure Paris will be fine. It's interesting how you feel sorry for the fan but have not an ounce of empathy for Michael's own daughter who faces an unconscionable amount of online abuse every day - so much so that she contemplated suicide. And the worst abuse comes from supposed MJ fans who feel the need to tell her how "disappointed" they are in her and how her father would be disappointed too; I'm sure that's a lot more difficult for her to brush off than the typical hater posts. And the things they are upset about - OMG Paris cut her hair! OMG Paris got some tattoos! OMG Paris briefly appeared on a little-known Youtube show! OMG Paris made a snarky comment on Instagram! - are hardly "mistakes" anyway.

I get the impression that some MJ fans have a certain vision of what Michael Jackson's daughter should be like and for a while Paris met their standards, back when she still had long hair and wore girly clothes and didn't speak out much. But now that Paris is coming into her own and revealing herself to be something other than a perfect copy of her father, these fans are lashing out. They think that by shaming her about her appearance and opinions, they can intimidate her into becoming what they want her to be. But it's clear that Michael raised her to be as resilient and independent as he was, no matter what the critics say, so Paris will continue living her life the way she wants to. And if she manages to annoy some haters and obsessive MJ "fans" in the process, all the better :)

BLESS THIS POST! I couldn't agree more. People need to hop off of Paris and let her be who she is.

Mistakes are normal part of every day life and when someone did one it is alright to talk about it, right? I do follow Paris on Instagram and I've sent her a post of support saying MJFam loves her (on her post about ppl who dislike her). I am sentimental and I prefer to express support when I see someone being hurt, my fault.

Why just not accept mistakes as mistakes with all its teenage glory, why to mask it with anything else? And by mistakes I do not mean tattoos or short hair, it would be silly of me, lol. I'm talking about one little episode that I found out about on this forum and discuss it only here but NOT on Paris Instagram.
All I was trying to say that, IMO, it is important to be careful with someone's feelings, even if you are in ruins. If you can't, bless your heart!

P.S. I understand that we all tired of negativity and hate that comes from all around on one girl but sometimes there's no need to be overprotective, IMO.

This a 1000 times.

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

Seriously all these hate comments bout Paris and her twitter is getting ridiculous now! Do you all want her to have the life that Michael had when he was a kid??? The life that he said he hated where he was more of adult than a kid ! Well if you do shame on you! the girl is only 18 not freaking 30! I'd rather see her on Twitter than hearing /seeing her in a nightclub taking full on drugs

Some of you are childish I have to say to expect Paris to be some young girl living in a 50 yr old body or something

HAVE NONE OF YOU LEARNED A THING FROM MJS LIFE??!! SMH

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

TBH regardless of how she behaves or anything she does I've always found it more then a little weird how people stan Paris just because MJ is her dad or because she's a Jackson.
My way of thinking is that maybe if they didn't invest themselves in stanning for and following Paris SO much then maybe they wouldn't be mad at her on a constant and they wouldn't get their feelings hurt by her.
I wish them all the best but I'm not a fan of nor do I "follow" any of MJ's kids because guess what, their they're NOT MJ.
Overall, If your an MJ fan be an MJ fan, and don't stan his kids by relation then get mad when they act a certain way or do something you don't like.

This is just my $0.02.....well more like $1.00 like it or leave it. :)

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

The majority are prob not even mj fans just teenage girls who live on social media

Re: Prince, Paris and Blanket News and Pictures [Tabloid articles & paparazzi are NOT allowed]

Paris Jackson is NOT Michael Jackson... I think when someone like Michael has children they are waiting for "mini Mike", to see if the children will look like the father, will dance like the father, sing like the father etc.. They are totally different people with different personalities, different wants, different needs, and different experiences..

We don' even know the REAL Michael behind the public persona yet we hold his children to the same expectation that not even Mike himself could live up to.. Plus they lived very different lives, Michael grew up in the 60's-70's, on the road, no outside influence, a domineering father and a religious mother (just to make a few huge life effecting things that make a person)

She had her father pass away at a young age, sent off to a family she could not have known THAT well at the time, went to school and had freedoms that Michael did not have...

If Michael walked her shoes instead of his own, who know who we would have become... And genetic makeup is different. Debbie Rowe is very different than Katherine..

Let Paris be Paris... no one is forcing anyone to fallow her!

What also strikes me as very remarkable / difficult for Michael´s children is that from one day to the next they not only lost their "only" parent, but also

... the sheltered home / "cosmos" they had been living in up to Michael´s death.
They almost instantly became public personae and were thrown into the limelight at the latest during Michael´s Memorial Service in Staples Center. I cringed a bit when I saw them "exposed" onstage, being watched by millions of people during the Memorial Service for their dad.

They basically went from unknown (we did not even really know their faces when Michael lived), very protected children to super exposed.

Just try to imagine this happening to yourself. I can´t.

And that was and is a real problem, IMO. But not someone's actions, tattoos or anything. Kids should have been protected from the very beginning of at least some negativity and hate that comes with being "exposed".

This is very true, but in this day and age that's hard to do (unless you have a parent like MJ who did that for them while he was here).
I also think that when it comes to Prince and Paris a mountain gets made out of a mole hill when in reality and AFAIK Prince is just living his life and hasn't done anything bad, and Paris just seems to be living her life and doing what makes her happy (getting tattoos isn't inherently bad and it's ridiculous to think so).
The only real mistake Paris has made is dating/being with a racist, but other then that it's obvious that some people are just being dramatic.
