Don't know if this is legit but good for them if it's really true...

LONDON: Michael Jackson's children want to buy back Neverland , the ranch the King of Pop called home, it has emerged.

Prince Michael, 13, and Paris , 12, want to turn the ranch into a shrine to their dad after having made a secret pilgrimage to the late singer's 50 million pounds home.

Jackson, who died in June last year, was forced to sell the sprawling ranch after losing control of it to an investment company when he fell into debt, according to the News of the World.

"Paris and Prince remembered the rooms from their childhood," the Daily Mail quoted a source as saying.

The source went on to say that the children agreed that when they were old enough they would turn it into 'some kind of community park and centre for animals'.

The source added that seven-year-old Blanket has also fallen in love with the place after a visit last summer.

The singer's three children will inherit millions of dollars at the age of 21, which means they can afford to buy the famous estate.

waowwwwww !!!! this would be just great ! I'm praying for this  not for the shrine but for Neverland to be back in the children's estate ! All their childhood mémories are there. That must be done !!!!

the actual source for this news story "news of the world" - in other words a tabloid that's very famous for making up stories

plus they wouldn't be inheriting millions when they are 21

hence I'll move this to tabloid talk

I'd be awesome if it's true, I really wish the can do it and turning back what Neverland was! *crossed fingers*
But if it's only tabloid crap, too bad.

I highly doubt it...Mr.Jackson hated what the media, society made "Neverland" into something that was so INNOCENT & BEAUTIFUL into something so ugly..!

The area is so huge you could build there something more environmentally in addition to re-creating it. I think re-creating wouldn't be that impossible because there are LOTS of pics and videos and people (like Prince and Paris) who were there a lot... Actually it's the upkeeping that costs the most during time but if it can be done like at least part of the area is somehow open to the public most of the time, that's not problem either. During Michael it wasn't open like that of course because it was his home. But I think it could be even possible to keep it open and a home at the same time. If you make new entrances for example..

But, it doesn't mean it can't be shown as beautiful and innocent again?

The thing about News of the World is they get small stories or very small pieces of information and run with it. Many people around the world including me plan to buy their childhood home and that's why News of the World reported it, it's "almost" believable.

Maybe so, Mr.Jackson "vowed" he would "NEVER" Return to "Neverland"..!

Why would he? Why should he have? All the bad memories, the corruption in the Sacramento Government etc. etc.

They do not deserve THAT honor from such an innocent, kind, loving human being as Mr.Michael Jackson.

If at all true, I hope they do succeed in buying back Neverland. Neverland is a beautiful place and Prince, Paris and Blanket are its rightful owners. That wonderful place is far too precious to destroy or to place in the wrong hands.

That's great if this happens to be true. Those kids will do their father proud with whatever they choose to do with Neverland. They love him very much and I believe they will make it as beautiful as possible and make it just as Michael would want it.

Good luck, Prince, Paris, and Blanket.
