This song wont work, I think it needs a re-structure, some lyrics changed and the title changing, also the chorus

I don't think the title needs changing or the chorus but if you think so I'll listen to any suggestions

I was just reading through it and come across some issues, it need to be tweaked.

1. and try and make it better.
This world’s become a mess
I’m gotta make it better.

Use of the word better twice above ^

2. The use of the world "I" should be changed to "We" gives it a more global and united feeling as to how we are feeling as one

3. The whole 'What Can I Do" thing does not work, because we are actually doing what we can do now, it doesn't make much sense.

4. The overall whole feeling of it at the moment is very rigid, and straight up like the line "I'm gonna make it better" problem is this is for a specific cause and this song wont make it better as such, I think using a song along of lines of MJ's "Keep The Faith" is better, we cant do stuff first hand we can only give them faith and let people know even us the ordinary everyday people are doing something

Well thanks for the suggestions I'll see what I can do about changing the lines,
but the chorus isn't just about us its about the whole world we are doing what we can, but not everyone is so I think I'll leave that as it is for the momment. I did notice that I used the words better twice and I'll try and change that

She'd sing some backing vocals, it wouldn't be a problem for her but I need to know how and where? Which part?
Then I gotta talk to her again to see what we can do!
Or u say that her part is enough and more people, other people from the forum should be involved to make the backing vocals, as well - which in my opinion would be very good, too! :)

I agree to all of that above!

You're right, there's not much we can do and we can't go head only makin one promise after another and then nothing happens in the end of the day. Tho' we can make them faith as u already said and ask for more help etc. So the title makes sense but it'd just sound better if the title was "What Can We Do" or "What Shall We Do".

That'd be my opinion! :)

Hey guys, I didn't know there would be one song in the end. When people were saying we could do as many songs as we wanted I thought they would all go up on the web pages and stuff and Raz's song would be the one promoted as a single.

I agree with what Romi said about being divided. We could all be putting work into one song instead of splitting up for no reason. So with that in mind, I'm not gonna put up the song I'm working on. Instead, I'm going to put work into the song that's gonna be the single. I'd love to do the video if there's no one doing that. If there is someone assigned to that, just let me know what I can do to help.

The music will be complete today according to mjultimatelegen and we will send you it then If you want to record it now then just do it according to the demo but a bit slower

It should be kept separate. Your rap track should have no music on it. As long as it's the right tempo it can be put in the right place when all the vocal tracks are being put together.

Ok, right now I have one recorded version on my laptop including the backing vocals. I made it very quickly. The only thing I'm concerned of is when we put the rap into the music later on, whether the backing vocals still will be powerful and loud enough or if they will go under...

Everything needs to be separate so whoever is putting it together can have control over every set of vocals. So if you record your rap while listening to the song through headphones and get your girlfriend to do the same on a different track, you will have two files to send to the person putting the song together. Then they can control the volume for each person separately. ;)

The same goes for everyone recording vocals. Record your vocals with no music on the track. Listen to the song through headphones when you are all recording. If the music is there it will get really messy and noisy when the song is put together. We need the best possible quality for this if it's going to be released to the world :yes:

I know there's no such thing as perfect but there's no harm in trying to achieve it either :)

EDIT: The demo from YouTube isn't working anymore. It says 'removed due to terms of use violation'
