The Discussion of MJ's Unreleased Tracks

@GYWOOM:
Do you know how finished „Red Eye“ is and when it was recorded? Apparently it was considered for the Michael album. Would love to know if thats true.

Also, as a big fan of ancient egypt I would love to hear more about the song „King Tutankhamun“. Do you know anything about that one?

Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Prolly just instrumentals king

lol, Shut Up and Dance was already leaked 2-3 years earlier.
it was an instrumental file, hidden among Korgnex' live mixes.
it sounded quite dated for 1999, so i didnt expect it to be Shut Up and Dance.

I don’t believe ts is real
The only source was some book somebody wrote, they prolly just wrote it based on the fact depps character looked kinda like Michael. I believe bro just made it up just for fun. I think the people Michael worked with at the time, like Brad Buxer and MP would’ve mentioned if MJ did a whole soundtrack for a movie. And now you can hear the snippet of WOC for yourself. They definitely weren’t begging to use ts like its alleged. Lmao

Hearing the full WOC is actually scary, doesn’t feel real. How did the guy who made Thriller make this. If ts ever leaks one day you will all feel the same way.

There’s multiple versions of SUAD and “I Love You More” (the other snippet korg put out)

Korg only ever had the instrumentals and earlier versions tho lmao, his collection is not as good as everybody assumes.

Only songs we know he has that others probably don't have is the more completed version of Family Thing, Don't Be Messin' 'Round (either an alt take or the 1991 version), and You Were There

Btw, when "Zx1" made that post saying whether to leak songs like BB, Nightfall Lover, Kentucky, among others, was he just blurting out songs for fun or are those actually circulating/in the hands of collectors?

It's funny BB considers TLC the worst song he worked on with MJ but WOC isnt mentioned.

This year hasnt been good, its just 10 second snippets
I disagree. We got previews of songs that people were planning to spend thousands of dollars just to listen to once at the U.S. Copyright Office. Also, there was a period between 2015 and 2017 when the closest thing to a leak was the fake “Bottle of Smoke” snippet. I’ll take the win whenever I can.

Pretty sure he was. Remember, Kentucky is a song from 1975. No way would any collector have songs from before 1983, especially since the bulk of those are either held up at the Copryight Office or only exist as stereo mixdowns on 1/4" magnetic tape (or multitracks on 2" 16/24trk magnetic tape).

Man, that feeling you get when you wake up to new leaks is indescribable lol

Some of those are weird ones for sure, "Garbage" sounds like a test beat more than anything. How it even made it to the Dangerous tracklist is beyond me.

"World Of Candy" is kinda wacky but the composition sounds nice. There really isn't one Brad Buxer song that's bad, even his weakest songs are good. That man could slam his head into a keyboard and he'd still cook up a fire production.

Eric Kirkland sounds too much like Dr. Freeze on "Shut Up And Dance", if I didn't know any better I'd be so sure it's a Freeze demo lol. Judging by Motif's video I thought the song was boring and it repeated itself way too much but his vocals seems to bring the song to a level. I still think "I Love You More" is the better Kirkland demo that Michael should've picked instead though.

I knew the verses on "Rocker" were incomplete but damn I did not expect it to sound that rough lol. Definitely not a song that can be released as anything other than a rough demo.

"Turning Me Off" doesn't really do much for me, just sounds like generic, cheesy 80's rock music. Will wait to hear more before I form a solid opinion on it.

Don't have anything to say on "Time Marches On", but it is definite proof that collectors have more than what meets the eye. This wasn't even a song that was known before, right?
Heard "Time Marches On" at a Sundberg seminar about 10 years ago. He told us it was the song that turned into Jam. Nice to hear it again even though I'd forgotten what it sounds like.

Based on recent leaks. It really seems like there is nothing of true interest left in the vault. The only material I can think of is the bad era material. Other than that, there’s pretty much nothing
It's true. Michael wasn't recording full vocals the last few years of his life, focusing more on creating new ideas/sounds instead. All the best stuff left is 70s-90s era.

For some reason I long thought “Time Marches On” was just a drum beat that was formed into “Jam”…
Teddy Riley said that’s how the song was given to him, Bruce Swedien and Rene Moore’s drum beat.

But it sounds like a completely different song and more fleshed out than I expected.

It’s very interesting that when MJ was working with Quincy, everything he worked on had a scratch vocal at the very least. Once he went solo, suddenly every other song was an instrumental. Dangerous seems like the last era where a fair percentage of the leftovers were vocally advanced.

Dude is straight up pulling info out of his ass by this point

I've been listening more to some of the snippets and I have to say that "Shut Up And Dance" sounds like a Bobby Brown song to an uncanny degree, "Every Little Step" is the closest my mind goes to.

"Neverland Landing" is starting to grow on me, I didn't think much of the song when the first snippet leaked but I'm seeing the vision here. Don't know how the Estate could release the song given it was meant for such a niche project but I still hope it sees the light of day somehow.

The chopped up vocals at the end of the "Time Marches On" snippet is catchy as all hell, I wonder how many vocals were recorded or if that's all the vocals there is for this song. @GYWOOM are you able to tell us about it's the state of completion?
It’s a sample from working and day and night, which is very interesting

the “you say that workin”

H u h. It seems like Brad had a different selection of songs from his seminars 10-13 years ago compared to the last 5 years. Or it’s just that Time Marches On is on the 2nd laptop

There are still songs like GOAL ‘09 and TYLA ‘09 that he re-recorded in full vocals

So I went back to this fake snippet of "Brad Loop" I remember stumbling upon a while ago to compare it to the real thing now that we have it and there's a comment claiming this is actually a snippet of "Silent Spring"
I know, some rando on YT, far from being the most reliable source of credibility but I still would like to make sure. Is anyone able to verify?

If it wasn't obvious, you just made it clear to everyone you think of your doing as some weird sort of d*ck-measuring-contest. Except there's no competition.

All this talk about collectors, gatekeeping and then look at you - a file trader - you just behave and act the same way that you and some of your pals are accusing and ridiculing serious collectors of. And they don't even do what you accuse them of.

It is just you doing all this nonsense:
- You're spreading (mostly) false and misleading info about unreleased work - from hearsay.
- You act like you are in possession of this material and make people anticipating a leak to follow. That's the worst thing you can actually do to a community because people often get very emotional when there's a carrot in front of their faces and they can't reach it.
People were expecting leaks for MJ's birthday this year. You made them wait and wait. That's not cool.
And here they are again. Waiting for Christmas this time? I dunno. Not cool, dude.

- You act like you know what other people have or don't have. As if any person on earth would be able to know such stuff.
- You are actually gatekeeping the snippets that are circulating for very obvious reasons. Gatekeeping snippets, think about it...
- Korg, Korg, Korg... Everything has to do with me. Whenever something leaks, whenever someone claims something, it has to do with Korg. It's all Korg's collection, it must be. Oh and his collection actually sucks, lmao.

You got some serious issues with me for no reason. You know zilch about me. I don't care about haters, they always exist and they always come up with crap.

You're different though, you keep on highlighting and feeding the most horrible aspect of this community. You give priority to jealousy, prejudice, greediness and abysmal hatred towards other individuals. And the development of this thread plus a minority of its readers acting like badly brought up children shows this.

So, as others have rightfully asked due to your continous trolling: Is gatekeeping and trolling the community WITH OBTAINED SNIPPETS the new standard? How more low can you go?

This is why I am calling you out for bullshitting & trolling with the community.

Finally! Someone who tells the truth to those Discord kids.

Well said.

This thread is an absolute pot-hole because of the same 5 or 6 posters.
