I just had a play with Windows Vista Business Edition {BETA} (No Media Center Software) and its quite nice, though there are definitely a few things to consider before buying the bugger and removing XP. Some of my apps don't work (PowerDVD) and others have issues, most notable of these is Photoshop's transparent loading screen, which in Vista is on a solid white background. App works fine though, from what I could tell.
Technically I could update this week and continue working as usual, but I think I will wait and see what apps get patched for Vista and wait for the support to increase.[/b]
personally even if the home computer was capable of running vista im not sure if id upgrade yet. theres usually a few glitches and that for the first few months. id wait probably 5 or 6 months before buying it. but thats just me. id generally do that with anything, even with a new version of photoshop
