there are more than one kind of satanism, such as the black mass which are pretty much anti god and do all sorts of other weird taboo crazy stuff and then theres one that are ones that as far as I know do not require you to worship satan at all, I believe that some of the teachings are pretty much to put yourself before others, the definition you have put forward has only limited itself to only 1 form of satanism.
