I don't doubt how hard it was

but remember sometimes the things we want most require the most work, so that when we finally do accomplish what we set out to do we know just how much it's worth

So I went to the 21st b'day party this evening

I knew no one there except the birthday boy and his family.

So after I had a great chat to his mum I watched the end of the foty and told my brother to mingle with some of the guests because he knew a couple of them an dI knew no one... (they are a lot younger and behaved like it  )

After the footy match was over on the tellie I looked at my brother and he looked so uncomfortable he was standing near a group of guys who were trying their hardest to ignore him standing there  broke my heart to watch him standing there like he was just beamed in from another planet. He has no social skills whatsoever but I was really disappointed with the other guys... why didn't they at least chat to him and ask him if he wanted a drink or something? (it was free after all)

So we left early cause I didn't want to mingle with people who clearly got drunk very easily on watered down light beer.....

I watched him in the car on the way home and he looked miserable like it was his fault that he didn't really have a good time...

I had no idea what to say to him except that it is hard to party at a party when you only know the host.

*shrugs*

i dunno maybe I'm weird
