we went up to the craft market near our house and then we went for a walk in the national park which was funny! man the wheelchair kept trying to run away from me! it was cool, mum got some funny pics of me running after granny rolling down a hill! ahahahaha ah all in good fun :)

because in the stone ages humans didnt know how to grow veggies now we do so thats why it aint natural for humans to eat meat now then it was ok now it aint so EAT VEGGIES
[/b]

Humans were hunter-gatherers uuuntil about 10,000 years ago. They hunted and fished, but also gathered plants, fruits, nuts, and legumes to survive. These are things the Earth naturally provided before it was paved. We're omnivores, but definately don't need meat to be healthy.

errrr actually back in the stone ages we mainly ate nuts and berries.. and it was women who mainly gathered the food for the men.. then they discovered how to eat animals so that arguement of yours makes no sense...

and the reality is we are made for eating meat and vegies, our digestive tract is more than competent at breaking down either food types so saying that we aren't made for eating meat is just silly.

Most importantly it's not the actual act of eating animals that should be frowned upon... rather it should be the way that some animals are bred for general consumption... little chickens injected with hormones and living their lives in a cage is wrong  .... but free range animals taste better

Most people I know who are vegetarian are more against the treatment of the animals before they become food... as opposed to the actual consumption of another flesh creature

and I think if ya wanna still debate the merits of what we all eat y'all should start a thread in the GDv2 where more people will provide better knowledge than what y'all where displaying before

chaos think about it what if someone came up slaughtered you and fed you to other people? thats just wrong what they do to animals.
[/b]

Do you think it's wrong when a coyote eats a rabbit?
I'm not a fan of eating meat, and absolutely not of how farmed animals are treated and raised to be killed, but it's not fair to tell someone who doesn't share your beliefs that they're wrong. Making someone feel bad isn't going to help you convince them to your cause.
Maybe if you share the reasons you feel that being a vegetarian is right. Did you begin to feel more healthy when you became one?

amen LJ :p :flowers:
