The videos (short-films) on Blu ray HD

After the Estate could only release a VHS quality DVD - Bad tour (not their fault as they could only work with what they had) they should next do what they and Sony do best.....pure quality! by re-mastering Michael's videos in glorious 1080p hd or even 4k like the Jaws film was recently done. After all they haven't just got these videos lying around on VHS, they should have the original film masters!!?

Its about time MJ's videos got what they deserve in this 21st century!!!!!

although that would be amazing.. thats not what i would want them to do next.. i would want the next few releases to go something like this:
2013) This is It, i would like to see some more of that footage released, with over 80 hours of magic.. there is so much they can do.
i would like them to just go ahead and make a big huge overpriced box set (much like the complete elvis masters) consisting of ALL the unreleased material..outtakes,demos,alternate versions..there is over 200 unreleased songs (and thats only the ones we know about) it will take forever to release that much material one album at a time.

i would like Bad tour MSG 88, LA 89, and Kansas City 88 on blu ray
i would also like Victory Tour Dallas and Mile High Stadium on blu ray..

i would like all of this to happen before 2020, proabably wont happen.. but if i had it my way this is what we would be getting,

Thriller + Making of Thriller + Ghosts + Making of Ghosts box-set

Not if they start a collectors label. See my sig :)

I'd like to see them go back to all of the original film reels for Thriller and The Making of Thriller and cut together a new film for blu-ray release. A new extended version of the making of Thriller, 90 mins or longer with more outtakes as bonus footage, plus the original version, plus an all new remastered Thriller short film making it's debut on blu-ray.

They should invent time travel so we can get to Dangerous 25 sooner. :D

I have to add, we now have a great Bad World Tour concert on DVD. We have only 1 Dangerous World Tour concert out, Bucharest, Romania 1992, and that has been around for ages.

For 2013, the 20 year anniversary of the 3rd Leg of the Dangerous World Tour, let's get a new Dangerous Tour concert on DVD. A concert from the 3rd Leg. I would love to see this immensely!

I think the next logical step right now would be doing a new, full, posthumous album. Except this time around, they should approach it the way that the "Michael" album should have been approached:

-Consist of songs that were ONLY made or finalized AFTER (or during depending on the song) the recording and release of Invincible. To be specific, songs that MJ was working on prior to his death such as "A Place With No Name", "Can't Get You Weight Off Of Me" , or "River Ripple", just to name a few.

-The songs should not be altered any further for this album and left the way Mike left them, of course.

-No songs that have been previously leaked onto the internet in full (although I personally will make an exception for the finished version of "Blue Gangsta" that Dr. Freeze mentioned some time ago).

-A running time of around 77-ish minutes, just like MJ's last few studio albums)

Overall, it should be approached as what should have been Michael's 11th studio album, rather than just a posthumous collection of random older songs from the vault. But that's just my own opinion, though (here's hoping :) )

Zack that sounds just perfect. I wish they would take your suggestion and run with it. (Maybe you could write them somehow?)

Thriller + Making of Thriller + Ghosts + Making of Ghosts box-set

I was going to write: release Ghosts on DVD/Blue-ray, but this is even better. Actually to put it in one box-set with Thriller could introduce Ghosts even to people who otherwise only hear and see Thriller when it comes to MJ.

So for that reason it would be great, but it would also be OK to me if they released them separately: Ghosts+Making of Ghosts and Thriller+Making of Thriller.

Would anybody be interested in the Estate releasing MJs classical album that he was wokring on when he passed? By all accounts the music is all written. It'd be a shame to let something he was obviously passionate about, fall by the wayside.

That would be a good release for the collectors label.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I think releasing a lot of new material at the same time wouldn't be a good idea. The Estate can't afford to think about things just one release at a time, they need to years ahead, and make sure that Michael's legacy continues for decades. One way to keep up interest in him is to gradually release unheard material. After a break with no new material the public will be much more interested in hearing unreleased MJ songs again. There is no unlimited supply of unreleased songs. The Estate needs to make smart choices and make sure that interest in Michael continues for years. If they released everything in just a few years after his death, what are they going to release in 20 years?

Great topic...

I would like a WHOLE 77 Minutes Album with DEMOS  Just like the demos on Bad25 :cheeky:

PLEASE NOT a 'posthumous' album hey :beee: Michael lives in HEAVEN now

Oh, didn't Michael work on a 'classical' album to WOW us :scratch:I don't care if they are 'unfinished' demo's as they carry the 'creative' juice of Michael in them and would love to hear those master pieces...

I still don't have the Wembley DVD... It's NOT in yet and seeing Michael is still quite emotional but did I tell you I want to see DEMOS released...

DEMOS PLEASE, Dear MJ Estate  Thank you...

The Estate's next project release should be.......

... an album/EP containing untouched (near to) finished Bad era tracks/demos.

There are more "completed" songs than some of the ones appeared on BAD 25 (Buffalo Bill, Tomboy, etc.). Such a release would also be a smart move if released after the BAD25 documentary.

I would like to see some new official MJ dolls something like the playmates but not another thriller doll or beat it one. i wan't dolls with new clothes like an official smooth criminal or an jam live version or an history live version. that would be cool.

I agree. This would be very smart from a business perspective. As The Estate has put a lot into the marketing of Bad 25. An album/EP with Bad era songs would make sense. It would be an effective use of the money already spent on marketing.

And since us fans are already hyped up on the Bad era at the moment, this would be brilliant.

I don't know if my suggestion would be next project but in few years time when MJ has been gone for 5 years or maybe 10 years, they should do tribute concert. I was thinking that it could be similar to Band-aid, that many bands and artists contribute to it from their own country, and it would be televised all over the world, and over the internet.I would loved to see all the musicians that worked with Michael over the years participating for this concert, who wouldn't want to hear Slash, Steve Stevens and Jennifer B playing guitars in part of concert? Bands like Three Days Grace and other Canadians bands/singers contributing from Canada, Green Day, Beyonce and others from America etc. Anyways, I would loved to see a proper tribute concert to Michael, Cardiff wasn't it.

No! No tributes anymore! I'm so done with those.

I want all the dangerous, history and Invincible outtakes. Finished songs like 'Shout'. Throw them all on a new album and make us proud.

Together with the album they should create a 3d animated MJ, so they can promote the songs with a short film, which can be shown in theaters before the main movie starts....

#Keepsondreamin'#....

What tributes to Michael have you seen? I have seen none (at least proper one) and I'm not done with tributes:)
It doesn't have to be named as tribute, it could Michael Jackson night.

Of course there should be HiStory 25, Dangerous 25 and Invincible 25 with all the outtakes, unreleased songs document etc.

Some great ideas in here!

But we also need ALL those leaked songs in CD QUALITY & on an OFFICIAL Release:

- Dangerous SE Disc II (Bumper Snippet, Happy Birthday Lisa, If You don't love me, Work That Body, Serious Effect, She Got It)
- Do You Know where Your Children Are (12 o'Clock)
- We Be Ballin'
- Blue Gangster
- Escape (aka Xcape)
- What More Can I Give
- Slave To The Rhythm

'Slave' , 'Escape' & 'Blue Gangster' are three of his best songs EVER (IMO) and desperately NEED to be released officially with all the hoopla & flying flags!

Next project should be:

Full new Album of unreleased material consisting of 10 to 12 Songs, only from '98/'99 ONWARDS.

Including:
Blue Gangster, Escape, Slave To The Rhythm (those songs show his musical & vocal genius NEVER declined). These songs are must for the public to be heard!

Maybe with one or two of those tracks to fill the Album up to 12 songs:
- Fall Again (maybe his best Ballad to me)
- We've Had Enough (to me better than Earth Song)
- In The Back
- Beautiful Girl

The next 'audiovisual' project should be:

Halloween 2013 Release of the HORROR Movies Project:
- Thriller (+ Making Of) Blu Ray
- Ghosts (+ Making Of) Blu Ray

Plus: A Collectors Edition of the two Blu Rays in one boxed Set with LOADS of bonus material!!!
