The Way You Love Me

This by far my favorite song by anyone. Why was it no put on an album? Putting it on TUC wasted it IMO. Anyone else agree?

I don't think it was a waste placing the song on TUC. I, for one, love my TUC because it's so compact - many songs that I like are put together on these CDs. I can just slip one of them in the CD-player and not get bored listening to it from A to Z.
On the other hand, I get what you are saying. Maybe for the non- hardcore -fans it was a waste, since they probably just buy the "usual albums"...

I love this song, has such a relaxing, fresh feeling to it.

The second chorus is funny though, I'm not sure if they mixed it differently on purpose or by mistake, but I still love the chorus and also the "ooooohhhh." The ending is lovely with the "lalalalada"

a waste?! wtf! you're kdding! this is my fave unreleased-released song. the "lalalala" at the end just puts a smile on my face. i love the vocal arrangement, the lyrics, it has an old school feel 2 it but sounds so modern. i just LOVE that song. ill never 4get when i 1st heard it lol. i fell in love 6 whole years ago haha

The song was recorded in 2000, so it was more than likely recorded for Invincible.

I'm amazed that anyone would call it their favourite ever MJ song, but I do like it. It's a very sweet, simple and charming song with lovely harmonies and production which takes me back to the 80s.

The key changes at the end get a bit annoying though.

I always wondered if that was intentional or if no one told Mike he messed up the words
