Someone have a rip of the new MOFI SACD?
Go and pay 70 Euros for it like Fans are doing. No reason that you get it free when we pay so much for this. kind of cheeky....

It’s very likely. Michael loved to properly record last dates on his tours.I've just checked every bit of footage we have of HN performances from 1984 and none of them match. My bet is that it's the final date of the tour, Dec 9 at Dodger Stadium.
The Estate: hmmmmmmI don't like the Victory Tour at all, but I can't see why they'd bother holding it back for release now if those film reels are the full show. If they only have a crappy source audio for the thing and can't do a clean 5.1 mix, at this point, so what? They've obviously already spent the money on getting the film transferred, it's not like it'd cost them anything extra to just slap it on YouTube after the docu release even if they think it's not of a high enough quality for a purchasable release. It's not like Victory is massively controversial like HIStory.
On a report during the tour stop in Chicago, Patrick Kelly said his crew had already shot 30 miles of film by that point. It’s very likely. Michael loved to properly record last dates on his tours.
OMG I want to watch this soooo bad. I am so tempted. But I think I'm going to hold out until I see the doc
what I'm thinking is, if the estate decides to release all of this for the 40th anniversary, are they going to have more content on the way for the next anniversary releases or are they just going all out here.. most likely not the the latter considering what you just said.On a report during the tour stop in Chicago, Patrick Kelly said his crew had already shot 30 miles of film by that point.
Assuming it was all 35mm (frame size = 24 x 36mm):
30 miles = 48280.3m
24mm = 0.024m
48280.3 / 0.024 = approx. 2011679 frames
Film runs at 24fps, so 2011679 / 24 = 83820 seconds or 1397 minutes of footage.
Even being multicam, it's still fair to say they had at least a full show or enough to edit a full concert by then.
Chicago dates were Oct 12, 13 and 14. The tour ran for another 2 months.
We should've been had it!We’re getting the doc next month, and the version that was shown hasn’t been finalized; writing it off already makes no sense.
....so is it too late to revive the old victory tour release campaign? Mj deserves an HD concert release. If they have this concert in full, it's time.
That’s what I was saying, Michael didn’t need to do This Is It, he had his concert tapes which he could’ve released. It would’ve made a lot if he released and he wouldn’t have to tour. I’m assuming it’s because he thought it’s much better to experience the concert rather than watch it on the screen. But I think we should see these shows, you could still feel his magic even if it isn’t actually going to the concert.Like...im speechless almost right now. The fact that this kinda stuff has just been sitting up for years...now I'm wondering why Michael never put any of this out. He limited himself as well I think. Lol he honestly didn't even need to do this is it. All he had to do was release these types of things & we would've loved it just as much & still had him here...maybe
Volaste con el hd footage? We can start a new campaign, or refresh the old one...
I have the YT channel https://www.youtube.com/@VictoryCampaign84 and Fb account https://www.facebook.com/victorytour84
Se lpm y falta ver másVolaste con el hd footage?
That’s synth, though.Probably thriller. I can't think of any other horns used
Yes! Made my day thisThis is amazing. I want to watch the full thing now.
I love the late ‘83 eyebrows (no one talks about them).
I think only flugelhorn, trumpet and trombone?Baby Be Mine has horns too
Flugelhorn, trumpet and trombone, amirite?Baby Be Mine has horns too
He also filmed and edited several shows. Recorded some on multitracks. Bad tour almost got released. I'm almost praying that this victory tour film is in full and that it was recently catalogued with maybe some of the lost bad tour film. Long shot but we gotta hope. That’s what I was saying, Michael didn’t need to do This Is It, he had his concert tapes which he could’ve released. Mike's voice here reminds me of his Ebony interview in 2007came across this snippet from the documentary, of Michael discussing something close to my heart; the message of ‘beat it’. it’s so rare to hear him speak with such conviction during this time. his voice had a force to it. I would love to know where this was taken from. aside from new footage, I’m most excited to hear Michael tell his own story during this time.
Exactly. So easy. And so perfect. Why didnt the estate just use these victory tour performances instead of lyric videos??
Because that would be something cool and would actually have to feature MJ in it lolWhy didnt the estate just use these victory tour performances instead of lyric videos??
This makes total sense.Im so happy and angry at the same time
i know, its nice isnt it to hear him *again*Mike's voice here reminds me of his Ebony interview in 2007
Forgot about the bridge!Thriller has Jerry Hey and his guys doing a live 4 piece horn section throughout the song and then additional flugel and flute parts during the middle 8.
I thought that would be the case. If the release date is Jan 2023, that's hardly any time at all.OMG I want to watch this soooo bad. I am so tempted. But I think I'm going to hold out until I see the doc![]()
... time will tell how this waiting goes lol.
Forgot about the bridge!
But are there horns, though? Or flugelhorn, trumpet and trombone only?
