haha how in the world did the estate not notice this? i doubt they okayed this remix haha they barely okay big rappers to sample mj songs
either way im sure its not going to stay up for long but thats funny
 
A fan asked Casey Rain on Twitter about We Be Ballin' and he said the following things.

This prick (AloneStar) is taking down "We Be Ballin'" (not his version, but the original ones with Ice Cube) from YouTube (I got takedown notifications and one strike from this prick, like he did the original song, f*ck him).

I bet that he heard the leaked versions, sampled them and made his song, as he claimed that he has the original contract agreement for this song (sounds like BS for me, I don't think Estate would have agreed with an anonymous not-so-talented rapper like him :laughingv6:)

I bet the "MJ" logo on the cover is used without permission.
 
It has been removed from Apple Music and the iTunes Store.
 
Some not so smooth criminal again. Such a cheap illegal cash-in attempt will only be getting him the attention of certain lawyers.

And having huge balls to claim videos on YouTube for copyright, like it's 100 % his own song. ??
 
How do you know that they "claimed" a video on YouTube? Not sure what you mean actually.

When a video gets taken down or gets a copyright strike it tells you who claims the rights/requested the strike or takedown of the video.
 
If you're the channel owner I think. Yeah I know that but which video did they claim? Did they claims videos of the original versions of We Be Ballin or something?

The track has been removed from spotify now..
Hopefully we're going to learn more about this "release" from the estate/sony soon..
 
What's up with random folk taken songs and mashing them up their own way? I don't get it.
 
I got an email from Spotify telling me about this song, I guess nobody checked to see if this was allowed!
 
Just gave this a listen and I have to say meh. Thank heavens it's not legit. It's horrible imo.

They can't just use a MJ song without permission/license?
 
It's just the internet these days. Weird people and scammers will always find ways to mess around. Right holders, individuals and companies need money, time and resources to go chasing criminals. But across the globe and with weak controls (why else would the hacked / faked Bryan Loren still be up with an infamous fake song) that's becoming increasingly harder and annoying.
 
Well, I went back throug all the versions and I must say this... The final master mix is the cleanest, there are pure and clean vocals of MJ and chorus is 3 times...
BUT work in progress demo, there is chorus just 2 times, instead of it it is a different rougher vocal take... and even the background vocals sounds much more better... :)
 
^ The WIP version still has the original instrumental from Ice Cube's prior track "We Be Clubbin' ", that's why it sounds different. They just put the raw vocals on it.

I know, but still the pronunciation is different from the final mix, it has to be a different vocal take...
