I really, really, really love this song and don't know why-I was listening to it and ran across this Robert Palmer version-which doesn't deviate from this arrangement and it's really great too.
Love the duet with a girl. Spent the whole afternoon watching Robert Palmer videos and interviews. I'm fascinated how many musicians got their influences and taste in music from listening to the Armed Forces Radio overseas.

Thinking about Leo's situation with the Oscars reminded me of this song. I think it was the appropriate soundtrack for his pre-Oscar 2016 career :) Given the day today I would have probably gone for "Only girl" by Rihanna, but I'm pretty sure I've already posted it here. Not only that, but the song it's downright useless in insuring my uniqueness. Life has already taken all the necessary and extraordinary measures to make sure no other female in the world has quite as special circumstances as I do. So yeah, this is the proper song for the day. Not only that, but the video is marvelous. Its MITM approach is evident and beautiful.

Nobody Told Me by John Lennon. One of my favourite songs by him as a solo artist, was released about 4 years after he was murdered.
