Who are the people paying out the money for Murray's Legal Defense?

I hope we find out the names of the people or corporations who are paying the money for Murray's Legal Defense.

Remember, in the Casey Anthony trial it turned out the ABC News Corporation was giving the money to pay for the bulk of Casey Anthony's defense.
 
Murray has malpractice insurance which gives him money for a lawyer. So, I don't see why we would need the names since every doctor has such a policy given the nature of their job.
 
Murray's basically, broke, though. I doubt he had very good malpractice insurance. I think there is someone or several someones paying his attorney fees, too.
 
Malpractice insurance doesn't cover criminal cases though. It only covers civil suits. I would love to know who's funding Murray, too.
 
whoever pays for his defense is only wasting his/her/its money.
It's even hard to hear their mumbling, not to mention their theories are just ridiculous.

That's really an answer I'd like to have as well, btw didn't Chernoff at some point claim he was working pro bono?
 
Good question, I'd also like to know the answer to this as well.

Whoever it is, I would suspect that they will do everything they can do avoid that information coming out due to major backlash?

As much as everyone wishes it were over, the drama over the Casey Anthony trial continues.
On Friday morning in Orlando came yet another bombshell in the case: ABC News paid $200,000 to the Anthony family, and the money went towards Casey&#8217;s legal defense. The revelation comes as the judge decided whether to declare her indigent, which would mean the state of Florida would have to pay for pursuing the case against her.
Anthony&#8217;s legal team told the court it has spent $275,000 on her defense so far. More than two-thirds of that has come from the money given to the family by ABC News.

An ABC News spokesperson told Mediabistro&#8217;s TVNewser blog: &#8220;In August 2008 we licensed exclusive rights to an extensive library of photos and home video for use by our broadcasts, platforms, affiliates and international partners. No use of the material was tied to any interview.&#8221;

It isn&#8217;t the first time ABC News has given money to the family. TVNewser also reports that in February 2009, the network paid for a three-night hotel stay at a Ritz-Carlton in Central Florida for Casey Anthony&#8217;s parents. During their stay, they dined with an ABC News producer hoping to land an exclusive interview. The Anthonys declined.

Casey Anthony was indicted on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse in October 2008, months after her daughter, Caylee, went missing. The trial finally ended this week, when Anthony was acquitted of any serious charges, and found guilty on four counts of giving false information to law enforcement officials.

I wouldn't be suprise if it's some person or Unknown person of great importance.I mean when The Media talked to some of the fans who was supporting Murray They were a little too cool or addoment,Meaning they could be actors.One example,When Beth Karas Interviewed Murray's Pastor,He ended the Conversation with Thank you baby. Now I have An Uncle who is a Bishop. ,He 's very Proper when he speaks to people and He would say Thank you after he finishes talking to you.Not Thank you Baby. That Made me supicious. and The Burly guy who went after a Jackson supporter stating Dr. Murray didn't do it- Dr. Murray is a Good Doctor- MJ did it to himself- He's a Junkie- If you think MJ didn't do it to himself, where you there ? The Jackson supporter said to him -You need to really educate yourself and get your facts right. So I'm thinking Some of these people are plants and I think some of his so called patients are phony or They are slowly dying in the care of this Creep to make This Murder look good.We all know now as we hear the testimonies and shown evidence and Now we know that some of The evidence is now gone. This Bastard is a Guilty As Sin. The Defense dosen't stand a chance because they can't explain any good reason why Doctor crackpot did what he did.We all know it was for Greed
 
I've been wondering that too, especially since Murray is drowning in various debts, interestingly enough some from unrelated lawsuits against his practise (would be wise to research those), and of course all that unpaid child support from his unknown number of children.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sneddon was paying for Murray's defence, lol. But, really, who knows. Must be someone pretty stupid, with a lot of money to waste during this recession economy. They also have awful taste in lawyers, thus far Chernoff has been awful.
 
IMO it's the most likely that a media group(s) is paying Murrays lawyers bills rather than an individual..

Last October, I remember reading that he had a malpractice policy through Medicus Insurance Company and they filed a lawsuit asking to be excluded from liability because the policy did not cover fees involving general anesthesia cases with alleged criminal wrongdoing...
