Love xx

I saw him in person when I was about 8 years old at the Natural History Museum in London, but I was too scared to actually speak lol.

I have never seen him in a proper concert but I did see him at the World Music Awards in London. He threw his jacket to the crowd at the front of the stage, and I touched his jacket. Unfortunately the jacket was ripped to shreds :(

Omg your soooo lucky!!!i would faint

No, but my brothers heard his voice live :p
Michael was very near at my familys home when he had a concert in Copenhagen, in HIStory tour. I was only ca. 2 years old that time. Only 1.5 km distance between him and I and my family.

That was the closest way to Michael.

I never had the oppertunity to see him.
but I do know my girl saw him live and met him.
She went to munich '99, MSG 2001 both concerts..
She also met him at the red carpet before the bambi awards.

you don't have to be jealous on someone else
I never saw him but I do feel blessed that my girl could see him.

Aww:) wow memories.. Don't forget London.. And the time we slept just a few rooms away from Mike on the same floor/hal :) .. And..and..
*Oh emories memories..*

The memories and Michael..always in my heart......

June 8, 1997 I saw him live in concert. He was not bigger then a tiny golden dot moving around the stage but atleast I was there.

To bad I didn't went to see him more often when he was in Germany, France, UK but I was a poor student back then.

I went to his history concert in 1997 and then i seen him at the world music awards in 2006 and then at the o2 for the press confrence and then in 2007 i got a phone call from him and a signed autograph:wub:

Awesome Dudie..Did you see him in the Amsterdam Arena?
Maybe a small golden dot... still witnessed the greatest.. with thousands of people.. I guess that would be some great grandma telling story in the future..haha.

Yep the Amsterdam Arena. And I never will go to a concert which will be held there again. It's to huge and the sound is not always good but that depends on the stage of the artist and how thier sound system is placed. I'm not affraid of hights but those stairs where so small and "stijl" that it freaked me out a bit and I was almost on the highest row of the 2nd ring:no: Compared to the 1996 concerts there the 2 in 1997 where much better soundwise. I heard that in 1996 Michael had to change microphones a few times and the sound was so-so. Some say the sound in 1997 was not as it should be either. But then I think of my dad who went there for the Rolling Stones a month or 2 later. That sound was so terrible he couldn't even hear the words they where singing properly. He was thinking of demanding a refund but never did.

But yep it would be a great story to tell my children/grandchildren if I ever have some :)

There has got to be a thread on this already, I will merge when I find it.

I have seen him many times.

Bad concert x 1
Dangerous concert x 1
History concert x 4
World music awards 06
02 press conference

Lots of times out and about in London at various hotels

Ohh wow a bad and dangerous concert. I remember I asked my parents to take me to the Dangerous concert here but I was 10 at that time which my parents found to little to go to a big concert etc. In 1996 the same problem allthough they gave in to late because they couldn't take it seeing me so depressed any longer. And in 1997 I had a fight with my mom about it..but it was all worth it.

And yep I believe there was a topic about this before now you mention it but no idea where.. the forum is so huge.

i saw him 3 times in concert.the first time was in 1988 the bad tour liverpool aintree racecourse, then twice on the dangerous tour leeds and london.leeds i was at the front, but to the side of the stage.from where we were standing we could see jennifer batten walking up the steps to come on stage,i also remember we could see someone in the dark very slightly they waved at the man that was next to me ,so i waved too.to this day i still hope it was mj waving, but because it was very dark we will never know,
i very much regret not going to the history tour, but we were trying for a baby at the time,i was frightened that if i were pregnant it would be too dangerous,
this doesn,t count as actually seeing michael, but when michael left us in 2009 i went to america,we visited neverland, encino, carolwood,it kinda gave me a feeling of being near him,and the staples cantre too,

I'm too young to have seen him before. One thing that annoys me and I think will annoy me all my life is in 2006 Michael lived in Ireland, and I lived in Northern Ireland. We were so close to each other but I never went down to get a look at him because of my young age at the time. I'll just have to be thankful that Michael and I lived on the same piece of land at one point. That's the closest I've ever got. At the time, I just assumed Michael would continue to live here and I would be able to go and see him when I was a little bit older but he left.

Then there was the O2 announcement... I wasn't in London or anything but I just remember thinking, "Damn, the first MJ tour that I'm old enough to go to and I'm not going." Well I've kind of went in the opposite direction of what this thread's about but these are the closest experiences I will ever have to meeting Michael Jackson. All I can do now is hope that one day I'll see Prince, Paris or Blanket in person.

I have seen him several times - with the Jackson 5 in London in 1972 when I was 10; subsequent tours and events/hotel.

At least we'll always know that at one point of our lives, we lived in the same country as Michael, and quite close to Michael. Do you know where he lived when he was here? I can't remember and can't find the answer on Google.

I think I found out after he left as well but we were too young anyway. We just have to look forward to Prince, Paris and Blanket's visits. Apparently they loved it here because of the privacy.

^ Awk that's great that they loved it here. hope they visit some day! :)

I saw him at concerts (1996, 1997 and munich 1999) and at hotels.
During the concerts we stood 1st and 2nd row which was amazing :D.

I was pretty close to him in Amsterdam once (about 2 meters) but he was inside his car....

In 1999 i may have met him, if it was him he was in disguise.....i'm still not sure and i quess i will not find out during this lifetime if that was him or not.
(it was in 1999 shortly before he left Munich and he was near the entrance of the hotel and accepting gifts that he would bring to Michael, we were only 5 fans and spent a few minutes together but i was very very tired and was not able to think very clear....lol, i do remember funny reddish hair and a huge pair of glasses...he said he was a dancer).
