I agree. I am very impressed with the abundance of promotion for this album. I was so disappointed with treatment of past projects - promotion that could have been promising, but died out before it could even gain steam.

This time around (hehe), they really seem to be listening and learning from their mistakes, trying to please the fans as well as keep the general public intrigued.

XSCAPE, so far, is everything the MICHAEL album was not.

Some past projects were downright embarrassing. It really seems that they pulled together for this album - Timbaland, LA Reid, Jerkins, et al. - seem to really respect Michael and the sanctity of his music.

Way to go for everyone involved. I'm very happy! :woohoo:

it's not melodyne he just did a wierd cut and paste and the ruined the start to include that drums roll at the begining

Aaaaaah .. good times. This is the most positive vibe around an MJ release since Dangerous. So good to see so much positivity, care for the work, and excellent promotion going into this. Can we just bring LA Reid and this team on as the full time MJ team?

Anyway, LNFSG is 10x superior to anything on "Michael". I prefer the "solo" version. I'd really like to see this single crack the Top 10. What I'm wondering though is if Billboard is going to combine spins of the two versions? Sales too?

I hope it can be heard sooner. Xscape was an amazing opportunity for it. If Johnson is correct, he has no access to the masters so I will assume Sony has them. If it does leak, that is where the blame will lie.

Indeed!

Anka was the only co-writer to receive a shout out at the Iheart Radio show that I saw. Kathy Wakefield is also credited with writing the song but, was not mentioned. I believe it was a very special night for him.

Some media articles credit Anka and Wakefield only as co-writers omitting Michael. Here is one below:

"Love Never Felt So Good" was written by Paul Anka and Kathy Wakefield in 1983. Jackson originally recorded the song with Anka, and the new track is made contemporary with modern instrumentation.

Love Never Felt So Good was the only song played on the iHeart show that I saw. Damn you Estate!

It would be great if Sony / the estate make a tribute album to Sly Stone and put Hot Fun on that. I believe that Michael holds the rights to all the songs by Sly and the Family Stone. Anyone not aware of Slys work really should check him out.

im sorry if this is offensive to some people as I don't intend it to be. I really love the album cover so this isn't a criticism. But the image of mj to me really resembles that of his last ever photos. (after he had passed). im sure this wasn't intentional but its just something I often think of. maybe its just me though..

The promotion for this album has been fantastic, all this radio airplay, all the love for LNFSG.. it's so beautiful! Michael sure would be very proud, his legacy is being celebrated very well! i hope LNFSG can reach the top 10 in the uk, that would be out of this world! but 4 versions of the same song in the UK Top 40???? that shows who the real king of music is, I wish Michael could have been here to see this :heart: Release day is gonna be incredible, so very excited for this collection of beautifully pieced together unpublished material!

...but not here in Finland! I have seen absolutely no promotion. Only few websites have mentioned the new song and I'm pretty sure LNFSG hasn't been played on any radio station here.

Estate and La please. Listen to the fans make every song a single! Produce amazing short films aka Michael style and with each single release give us some weaker unreleased tracks as bonus. Please please go with your guts and release Michael projects on the back of this success such as remastering all short films into bluray . Bringing out more concerts, especially victory etc. any footage of one night only rehearsals.

You have done a brilliant job up till now. I am sure Michael would say this is huge! The greatest .

La you deserve to do the bio now. Your passion for this project is truely inspiring.

Maybe it has been played in radio but you missed hearing it?
Obviously people in Finland have heard it and knows it as it is no 3, 7 and 16 in iTunes.

I'm personally pissed off with UK/Ireland (26 &28) reaction to song, but hopefully it will change next week when BBC radio selected it as song (or was it album of the week), so plenty of radio play.
