Last year there was a beutiful thread about songs by other artists that make us think of Michael or that we would like to dedicate to Michael. I loved that thread and it was active for a long time. Eventually that and other thread were close and I might be wrong, but I really, really feel the need to express my feelings for Michael. Music, most of all, makes me think of him.

So I would like to have this thread to share those feelings. I miss Michael every single day. Sometimes I find it hard to believe he is really gone. Some other days I am simply grateful I had the change to be part of his life and to love his music. Many times a sad song bring me to tears, but other times, happy tunes brings the joy of the good times Michael gave me. Music has that power.

Today I heard a song that made me think of Prince and of Michael, his wonderful father.

Quite a few. One popping in my mind right now is "U Know What's Up", by Donnell Jones another one is "My Love", by Julio Iglesias and Stevie Wonder, or Stevie's "You Will Know"..
 
Quite a few of Blackmore's Night songs reminds me of Michael. Especially Village Lanterne, I Still Remember, Waiting Just For You, Lord Of The Dance, and Again Someday.

Also there are like many Bollywood songs that reminds me of Michael. Especially this one:



This song is from 2008 Hindi remake of the 2005 Tamil movie Ghajini.

Anything by Justin Timberlake, he really is like MJ's apprentice lol.

Also a couple of songs by Aaliyah such as:

The beats of this song combined with the dark nature of the video, the dance routine and the lyrics reminds me of something MJ would have done in the Invincible era.


Also this song reminds me of MJ because the lyrics are so appropriate and listen closely to what DMX says at the start: "I can't accept the fact you're gone, so I won't, it'll just be like we haven't seen each other in a while" how very true, that saying has always stuck with me:

I feel you...You can't get over everything in life, so you got to learn to live with it.
 
For me R kelly, the greatest. is sounds just like keeping your head up

i hate that song.. both actually.

Also i think justin is a great singer with alot of michael in it. michael saw that also in him i think and appreciate it without being mad or something..
