Re: Janet's New Single - Feedback (all comments here) ***
Am I hearing correctly or did I hear "Im heavy like a first day period"

lol.. Just hearing the song first time today
You're telling me albums and songs like Control, Rhythm Nation, janet., The Velvet Rope, All For You and Damita Jo were "computerized" "no real vocals" and "no substance"?
Okay, whatever you say.
I agree with you wbss except for the age thing. I think she need to get some class put on some more clothes and act her age and the sex thing is soooo tired.
And since when has janet been a songwriter please, janets song writing imo is in the same league as her singing.

I think she is a great artist and entertainer. I really liked the Control and Rythm Nation albums and some songs on the janet, Velvet rope and All for you albums but I have not bought her two latest albums. I never liked the sex songs ever, that is just my opinion, and it sounds like there is going to be several songs like that on this album as well so I have not decided yet.I think this song is ok though. Her latest work sounds more computerized than her classics. Let's be real, Janet has not made a great cd since TVR. Heck, I would even go as far as to say that she has not made any great music since RN1814. When she started going the whole sex route and toying around her sexuality or sexual orientation, it was a complete turnoff, IMO. No one cares what she thinks or feels is sexy. The only reason why her fans are even relating to her is because they have sexual feelings for her and because they do the exact same things that she does and she does it better than they do. That is the only reason why her career stayed so long.
I finally heard the whole song and I actually like the song. Will I buy the cd? Not a chance.
I think Janet needs to stick to movies. hehe
has that 'cher-believe' sound. club music
no, where they iz at LMFGAO
Is pop radio playing it more than r&b radio? I heard it once on the biggest r&b station here then they decided not to play it anymore.
Yeah, it's still #3 on the Bubbling Under R&B chart. It's obvious that L.A. Reid is approaching POP radio for "Feedback" and it's a good move. I don't mind the R&B station not playing it though. Remember how it was an album ago, R&B radio was playing "Call on Me" (probably because Nelly was on it, lol) and it went #1 whereas pop radio wasn't playing it much and it made the top 40 based on digital downloads.
"Feedback" could be a different story for Janet on the pop side.
Thanks for the information Timmy :flowers:
Jan's video looks like it may be good. Does MTV still play music videos? Oh, hell, who needs them anyway when we got youtube--but it would be nice so folks without computers can see it. Just about everybody got a TV.
