Hey 166,000!!
that's amazing! i don't know why some people are freaking out over this
the album is 25yrs old and still got a number 1 spot and would have been number 2 if it was elligible to chart on the billboard top 200. that's pretty damn fantastic if you ask me!

its THAT line that keeps on playing in my head, I cant enjoy the original anymore with out thinking of the one who should not be named

Yeah it's hard for me too. The original was just so... I still don't understand why MJ allow A-Frog to butcher it. I understand he wanted to get the new generation but maybe he should work with Mark Ronson...or something, lol.

Conspiracy Theory one: MJ wanted people to realise just HOW GREAT the songs he had originaly made are

Conspiracy Theory two: Akon paid him a stupid amount of money for him to remix it

Conspiracy Theory three: *insert conspiracy here*

and I thought Michael was a genius :(

we should get Chris Tucker to help preserve all the Michael Jackson classics, he did a good job of it in Rush Hour 2 ;)

Conspiracy Theory three: Michael wanted to clown Akon for saying mama say, mama sa, mama coo sa wrong.

The fool said AMA! Not MAMA, AMA! :lmao:

He also said mamase mamasa mama cu sa all the time even thou the second time it should be mamacusa. The end of that phrase comes earlier every second time..

Re: AW: Re: current T25 Sales (usa)

Agreed. Thriller 25 won't appear on the main Billboard Top 200 chart cause its over two years old and has long fallen off the main chart. It'll hit #1 on the Billboard Pop Catelogue chart, #1 on the Billboard R&B Catelogue chart, and by the looks of it #2 on the Billboard Top Comprehensive chart. WOOOO!

Well, if they take it out of the Top 200, then they will also take it out of all the other charts! Top Pop Catalog will be the only chart it will stay in!

It'll appear on the R&B catelogue, Pop catelogue, and Comprehensive album charts like i mentioned...

Possibly. LOL

Come on he was jamming to freaking IGNITION in the back of Bret Ratner's car...I'm sure he jams to Kelly's "feelin On Yo' Booty" if he can jam to ignition. LOL Smake That is not so far off from those songs

Don't be mad that MJ like some of today's music. And honestly I think the music of today have good catchy beats and stuff, but the CONTENT is ridiculous. MJ can hone to some of that and when he does his thing, he can do it his way.

Are you sure?? I will have to check my old Billboard magazines... don't know where I put them! If so, that's a pretty inconsisten rule then... if they take old albums out, then it would make sense to take them out altogether... especially on the smaller charts... but anyway... if it stays in, then it will be #1 on Rnb again after 25 years!

Edit: Wow, I bought my last Billboard magazine 12 years ago... how time flies! It seems you're right, unless they changed that policy as well! There are also older albums in the RnB charts... but then again, they also had Metallica's black album still listed in the Top 200 after 226 weeks (52 months)... it's time to pick up a Billboard magazine again! ;)

I can tell the promo is working in the USA cuz i haven't even talked about it to my parents...and the first thing they say to me after not talking to me in a while is..."So whats up with this Thriller album with Michael Jackson? What's the verdict? Is he BACK???"

YES! LOL
