are we sure Mike is going to be there.. I don't see his name anywhere in the ads for BET Honors...???

He didn't go, Ne-Yo talked about how he wasn't bothered about Mike not being there because he knew how Mike felt about him because Michael had let him know personally and so he did the tribute to Michael.

I didnt think so cuz everytime I saw the commercial there was no mention of him. Oh well.

Its a done deal its pre-taped from last month and those in the media
who attended_ said there was a tribute to Thriller

Crap! I don't get BET anymore. It's a bunch of bull***t! They offer us how many other stupid channels, yet we can't get BET. Grrrr....
Same here! We get like 5 VH1 and 5 MTV channels and a whole bunch of other random music channels that I'll never watch, dozens of religious and sport channels (new ones added all the time), but they absolutely refuse to add BET to the lineup here even after years of requesting it.

Then I won't try to watch it...Michael won't even be mentioned so why should I bother...
I have a feeling that MJ won't be mentioned either. All these organisations are one and the same. They wanted MJ there and he didn't show. I think they are going to pull a grammy's too.:)

Neyo sang " The lady in my life" and Cedric the entertainment, the host, of the event said that "we tried to get Michael to come" after Neyo finished singing:lol:

MJ may have been honored on the night in question, but I would'nt be surprised if that segment where Ne-Yo did his tribute was edited from the final show that will be aired. As someone said earlier, I have'nt seen his name even mentioned in the ad that BET has running.

So, who knows?-_-

I get the Sky Magazine for UK/Ireland and they mention the BET Honours. I think BET is being added to Sky Digital next week so we will get it.

All the ads i've seen for the BET Honors this year don't mention a Thing for Thriller, MJ, or anyone doing a tribute performace. So if they don't air MJ's portion, just like the Grammy's.......ya did it to yourself MJ :(

That is funny.LOL. Cedric is too funny.

Anyway, for those of you who do not have BET, that kinda sucks (then again, BET, when it comes to programming, is becoming really scary). So, try to imagine not even having cable.LOL. Yeah, that is me. :(

Anyway, for people who are gonna see the show, please tell us the details.

If the Grammy's pulled through with MJ dedication I wonder how much it would have bumped sales..

well it did well without it. But this weekend this will come on, help second week sales a bit.. :)

OKAAAAAAY, that girl said that Ne-yo was good, so if he sucks....that would suck...

hmmm......I dont think anyone could ever sing LIML better than MJ, so I hope I'm not biased when he performs.........

soooooo, I'm getting that MJ was not honored, but just that Ne-yo was performed ????

well, guess Ill watch (and tape!!!)

I wouldn't go that far...saying "all these organizations are one and the same". BET is very supportive of MJ...at least that's what I have witnessed over the years.

I think not. MJ is doing fine with or with out these award shows.

VERY TRUE!!! If it were other re-release, it would have sold @ least 70,000 albums. HOWEVER, MICHAEL SOLD 400,000 GLOBAL AND 166,000 ALBUMS IN USA ALONE. SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU???

FROM NOW ON, I DONT THINK ANY OF US FANS SHOUD JUDGE WHAT MICHAEL IS DOING, UNTIL HE IS DONE AND READY TO SHEAR WITH US. I KNOW SOME OF US HAVE OPINIONS BUT SERIOUSLY, SOME OF US SAID HIS ALBUM WONT SELL THAT WELL 'CAUSE HE WASNT @ THE GRAMMYS, WE'RE JUST PRIDICTING WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT REALLY IS GOING ON!!! MICHAEL HAS BEEN IN THIS BISNESS 4 OVER 40 YEARS. SO IN THE FUTURE, WE SHOULD JUST WAIT 4 THE MASTER AT WORK TO FINISH WHATEVER HE'S DOING...:)
