Ich habe Michael vor einigen Wochen in Amerika getroffen und wir haben uns unter vier Augen unterhalten – als Freunde. Er strotzt immer noch vor Energie. Sein Händedruck war fest. Ich denke, er ist nach wie vor ein Genie, sei es auf der Bühne oder im Studio. Ich wage zu behaupten, er hat vom Leben nicht viel gesehen, außer in der Zeit, in der wir zusammengearbeitet haben. Da hat er die Welt gesehen und auch Spaß gehabt.
Ich habe mit ihm über seine Zukunft gesprochen und ihn gefragt, ob er noch einmal auf Tournee gehen möchte. Er meinte, "Marcel, ich habe doch alles gemacht im Leben. Was soll ich noch hinzufügen? Warum muss ich mich da bestätigen?" Es gibt keinen Platz auf dieser Erde, wo wir nicht waren – bis auf Nordamerika. Da haben wir nie gespielt.
Wir haben auch über ein Konzert in London gesprochen, aber Michael sagte, das sei nicht außergewöhnlich für ihn. Er will etwas Außergewöhnliches. Das war auch früher schon so. Ich kann mich erinnern, dass er sich einmal auf der Bühne einen Crash mit einem unbemannten Flugzeug als Effekt vorgestellt hat. Ich meinte nur, dass das keine Bühne aushält und er gab mir dann Recht.
Ob ich mit ihm noch eine Welttournee machen würde? Ja, bei Michael würde ich "ja" sagen. Wir haben viele schöne Zeiten gemeinsam erlebt und für ihn würde ich mich noch einmal reinknien. Lassen wir uns überraschen, ob es soweit kommt.

When asked on whether he would go on tour again:
"Marcel, I have done it all in life. What am I supposed to add? Why do I still have to prove myself?"

The concerts in London are not extraordinary enough for him. - Michael always wants to be special - Back in the days (HIStory tour) he wanted to have an unmanned plane crashing on the stage (which he accepted as not possible to realize

interesting. I agree with MJ. lol i have a feeling he's looking at people like James Brown...ect..and feel that he's not gonna tour for the rest of his days just to prove he 'still has it', especially when he doesn't have to.

I can't understand this very well but does he mean that him doing the regular old concerts isn't "unusual" for him and he wants to do something different?

I think it is an interesting comment as well, if true. It would seem that MJ isn't as hungry as some would seem to want us to believe. He isn't rushing his album, and he isn't rushing to go back on the road.:)
 
Eww, Marcel Avram? How odd, lol. Well, if this is true, then it doesn't sound like Michael wants to tour anymore, which really shouldn't be a surprise. He would be better off doing a few shows here and there.

He means exactly what he says, he doesn't wanna do the same 'ole, same 'ole.
 
I was just confused with the translation.

And yeah, it's not shocking. Even though he said that he "loves" to tour :lol:

That's what I was thinking. Weren't they sueing each other in 2002 AND 2005? :mello:
 
He means if he did go out on tour, he would want to do something completely different to what he's already done then? That would make sense. That's Michael, he's always wanting to create something new and unexpected.

i commend Mike's thought process; he's still trying to think innovative. selfish thoughts aside, i think he's right. but i hope some sparks ignite while making the new album that will invigorate his touring thoughts, maybe? hopefully? i don't know...

But at the same time, its like he's already done everything, he's already proved himself, what more can he do?

I wonder if he's lacking inspiration right now, or is it that he just can't be bothered? :(

naaaa i think his touring days are over. He made it very clear how much he doesnt like it :lol: Buuuuuuutt then again, MJ loves to change his mind.

I think we might see a mini tour...a few shows here and there. I'm sure MJ wants to get on stage again, just not that extensively.

I definitely don't think he's uninspired. Based on all accounts, MJ is working very hard on this album. And i think he's got a lot of things up his sleeve ...just not in the touring department.

I think he just wants to MOVE ON to the next stage in his career. He doesn't want to start repeating himself. If he has already proven he's a good live performer...there's nothing else to add to that. I'm sure he'll do some live performances, but i don't think it'll be the same as what we are used to.

Marcel Avram sued Michael & 2002 & was pretty nasty to him at that time, so I don't really know if I believe this. I think he'll definately perform again, maybe small tours in the U.S. & elsewhere!! But I don't think it'll be huge like Avram wants and if I was Mike after the hell Avram put him through in '02, I wouldn't go ANYWHERE with his AZZ

I just don't think he wants to put his body through the rigors of being on the road for months at a time, travling from city to city and country to country, waking up in a different time zone every other night and then dancing and singing for two hours straight. It's hard man.

Yeah, he made some pretty untasteful comments about Mike and the court case in 2002 is where those infamous pics of MJ came from :ph34r:

That is what I am taking from it as well, that he is saying that he has done all there is for him to do and he has already proven himself and there is nothing else he needs to prove to anyone. I agree with him. Only MichaelJackson is asked to do more than anyone else in order for him to get the same recognition as anyone else. He has doone more than elvis presley and yet people are having a hard time giving him the minimum of credit. I feel you michael. I also feels that what he does from here on, he will do at his pleasure.:)
 
Alright, I am not trying to be negative but isn't this same Marcel guy that sued MJ years back for not doing concerts? I think this guy is a slimeball and regardless of what MJ supposedly told him, I do not believe it unless it came from MJ. That is just how I see it. Also, the translation is terrible, no offense.

I understand that it is possible that MJ might not want to tour anymore, but this Marcel guy has sued MJ before and the way he is telling this story is fishy to me. Maybe MJ told him that but at the sentence does not want to be bothered with touring or whatever. I just do not trust this guy or anyone that sued MJ.
 
No he's not saying he'd done all there is to do PERIOD...he's saying as far as touring just to say "look at me, I still got it" is not what's happening. He's already done that multiple times. He's looking for something new I think, more challenging.

I wish MJ would just tell the fans how exactly he feels about his place in life right now and his intentions; rather than regurgitating what he feels is what people wanna hear. Everytime you hear MJ quotes from insiders (e.g. chris tucker who is reliable), its totally different to what MJ potrays to the public.

This thing doesn't say that he's done it all...it's saying the opposite. He's done the touring every where already...now he wants to expand...do something different. Challenge himself.
 
Michael already said in his interview with Ebony that he wasn't interested in touring, or at least, he implied that. So this really is no different to what he's been saying publically. He's been saying he doesn't want to tour since the end of the "Bad" tour. I don't know why people are so shocked. When he says he isn't done, he means musically and in terms of other artistic formats, such as films, that's pretty obvious and has been for over 20 years.

Just because he never wants to think it doesn't mean that he hasn't. Furthermore when you have given as much as MJ has and see that your own people can turn on you the way they have, it makes you sit down and take stock. He has a right to say that he has given his whole damn life to entertaining the masses and look how they treat me.:)

That's why I don't believe this Skank, Michael never says that. Plus Marcel tries to make it seem like Michael doesn't give a ****! the words "There is much more to come from Michael Jackson" speak volumes. Avram is not reliable in any form!

I get that part! I just don't trust Avram as far as I can throw him.
 
Well yeah. Avram is shady. But not because MJ supposedly said that he doesnt wanna tour anymore for reasonable reasons lol
