Thanks. It is good to be optimistic, but that is still quite a vague response and I suspect that many people - including me - will be reluctant to donate because of this position.

Would it be better to say that if money hasn't be raised by a given date (which is clearly specified), then the donor can ask for his/her money to be refunded in full, or to be given to a charity supported by my Michael (again, clearly specified).

We just want to be sure that the money doesn't end up being spent on someone's shoes (no offense)

Youtube is an exellent way to promote it.

if you feel the least bit uncomfortable about donating, don't do it.

your concern is understandable ... nonetheless, Donna & Becca are attempting to remain positive, that project will be a success and the 'what if' scenario that you are playing out, will not be an issue.

Should it happen that the money is not raised by Michael's birthday this year, what would the fans like to happen ?? Just scrap the idea and get your money back ?? Or continue and raise the money for the star ?? maybe some feedback would be helpful.

While it is all of us donating money for this star ... it really should be taken into consideration that Donna and Becca are doing all the work, in the fans collective name.

If you are not comfortable donating funds, I would invite you to help out in another way. Gather information on celebrities that support Michael, collect contact information for them, make other fans aware of the project, spread the word, generate some interest somehow, set up a lemonade stand on your street corner and send in the change you collect ...

it is not as if people are getting rich off this, the time invested alone. Not to mention actual costs involved ....

Oh my God!!!!!! That is so awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Qbee!!!!!!!!!!!! You......ALL of you guys....are so thoughful!!!!!! I cant tell you how much I appreciate it!!!!!! Please feel free to post any of the two videos EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! We, the fans need to do this for MJ! This has to be a gift from all of us, the fans!!!! Lets try to work together by posting the videos & info on all the message boards we can!! Not only MJ boards....but boards of those celebs/singers that have either worked with MJ or who admire him just like us!!!!!!!! We can do this....if we all do it together!!!!!

okay I got a prank call tonight...not sure who it was, but it was very strange. Ugh...restricted number too but it sounded like someone had taken MIchael's interviews, and cut them...you know? So I would ask something and then it was a response...thank god I have listened to interviews before or I may have taken this thing for real...but its still very strange....I know it wasn't MIchael though but ugh...someone has a very sick mind!! I hung up on them and then called Donna, but they (whoever it was) called right back...same thing straight for 15 minutes. SO I was trying to think of questions to ask that would be difficult to answer and sure enough it was....ugh I hate this. Again, people with sick minds and too much time on their hands!! Why would someone do this??

Yes we can do it
IF everyone gets on board and does their BEST to promote
and Donate if they can - But my experience with the Majority
Michael fans is a LOT of Talk and NO action - Im just being
Honest - Im not saying everyone - But MOST - I hope they
PROVE Me wrong this time - I really do :)

Qbee.....I actually have a great idea that would encourage fans to donate super fast, however, we need to talk to Raymone ASAP & get Michael's approval. The sooner we talk to Raymone, the better, but her auto email responder says she wont be able to respond to her emails until the 14th.

I noticed Elvis Fans were sponsering Fundraisers
and haiving drawings to raise Money - if anyone
is able or interested in doing that .. would be a
great get together ..

Maybe some DJs could help collect funds for it
in the clubs ..

get the word out on MJtunes and see if they
might help sponser it ..

lets put our heads together and come up with ideas
to help make this a reality

Update!!

OKay guys, we just completed a lot of hard work and sent about 100 sponsor letters out to everyone and anyone that we could think of that has been influenced, friends with, or who has worked with Michael. We also set up a P.O.Box and a business account so you can send checks/money orders/international money orders now to:

Las Vegas, NV 89193

Make Checks Payable to: King of Pop Fanatics
