I often wonder why he hard to go through so much pain and humiliation in his life. There are so many people around who has done really horrrible things in their lives and always seem to get away with it. Michael did so much good and most of his life was filled with misery.

Now that he has died, he is being maligned by and the media the critics. And worst of all all his private business is being exposed for all to see. It so sad because Michael was a private person and would of never want this to happen.

There is no logical I COME with answer and it is so unfair because he really don't deserve this.

Why did Michael suffer so much.

The HATERS.

They can't stand to see a man of God doing so well, so of course the are going to tear him down in the worst possible ways.

I hate he suffered. I would trade everything he ever blessed us with for him to be here with us happy and just living a normal life.

I heard something along the lines of this somewhere awhile ago...

"God makes the best suffer, because he knows they can handle it. They can take it and grow from it, and still flourish even though they are in pain. They take the pain of others because others would simply break and die under the pressure. It is their gift to the world."

I think that says a lot.

There is no answer. Its what the media do - build someone up and then tear them down. Michael wasn't the 'average joe' and people couldn't handle it, they didn't understand him. They didn't get how he could be so famous, so extrodinary yet so ordinary and so loving.

Look what happened to Jesus Christ..imagine what would happen if he walked this earth now.

ps. I'm not holding MJ up as Jesus by the way! I'm not like that!.... :/

Yes this is so true. He was so strong.

I always felt so sorry for him. They hurt him so much and he managed to somehow deal with it. Any sane person would be broken down and not want to go on after he went through. The media and haters (especially those who believe the media) still piss me off. Maybe that will never end, but I'm glad Michael doesn't have to experience it anymore.

the majority of his pain is the result of his upbringing which made it impossible for him to live life like a normal adult. But that upbringing was the only way he could become so talented. Michael said he believed he was born to entertain and basically his entire life was one big sacrifice for music lovers around the world. It was the only way.

My heart goes out to the guy but I can't help but wonder if it was worth it for one person to go through this so that millions and millions of lives could be enriched. I think Michael thought it was worth it and wouldn't have had it any other way.

i like this, i believe this.

I think its just good vs evil. this world is fueled with evil and ruled by evil, it was a tough battle for michael take :( he is sooo strong, aw michael :(

If there's one thing that has been proven to us the fans and everyone else is that Michael was strong. He never changed for no one! He held his head up high and maintained his dignity throughout all the media bullying, he never stooped down to their level, ever. That to me is a real man!
Music was Michael escapism, and he allowed all his fans that same escapism with his music. Michael was a strong soul, he's even my strength. Whenever I feel sad and really unhappy, its Michael who I turn to, he never fails to me make me smile. I really believe that Michael is the strength within us all.
In life there's bound to be vultures about, wanting to bring you down all the time. Michael had his fare share of vultures who would do anything and say anything to try and destroy him, but Michael never let them win, they still haven't won. We the fans still love Michael, wether or not he had a addiction to prescription drugs. They can try and break our love for Michael any way they want, but they will NEVER suceed!

This is so true this is exactly what I believe. If you dont go through it you cannot grow from it. Michael did a whole lot of growing in his life time. People were just so incredibly mean to him. He took what they said and learned from it and then grew from it. The haters dont realize it but ........they only made him stronger.

I feel the same, one of the many reasons I love him because he stuck to what he believed in no matter what. I respect him as a person and his strength so very much.

Because the people in this world can sometime suck. We live in a world where jealousy, ignorance and greed rule. We live in a world where a man with a gift and talent that was out of this world is ridiculed because of jealousy and hate. A world where a man with a kind and pure heart is deemed as strange because of ignorance. This world we live in can be wonderful but its people just plain suck. They're jealous and ignorant because they don't understand how someone can be as good and talented as Michael.

Some people suck.

The reaction to his death proved that a vast majority loved him.

Also, remember...despite his lows. Michael had unparellel success in achieving many of his goals such as the best selling album in the world, helping the disdvantaged, was loved by literally millions, and had beautiful children.

His amazing talent was acknowledged and admired, his contributions in breaking barriers was lauded. He traveled the world, was respected not only as an artist, but businessman and had massive wealth.

In balance, he had many highs and many lows. He lived to be 50 years old. Gone too soon for sure, but in his 50 years, he also had a fullness in his life that most who live to 100 won't ever know.

That's a good question, hard to really define it really. Fame maybe, reaching the top to quick and then falling down hard. Overexpectations of himself, to hard on himself, trying to prove things to himself and to his family maybe...
Everyone wanting a piece of him, he's only one person and could only do so much.
The pain of his accident and being addicted to pain killers. Fears that he had, that grew after the trial had ended.
Having no one as a true friend to rely on, fair weathered friends who wanted to get a piece of him and then make money of him later, wanting to be a "real" dad, wanting a relationship, a date, and not being able to accomplished this as he wanted to.

He rolled himself into a ball, built up a world to hide in, survived the best way he could, loving children and living like a child. Till that was taken away and destroyed. Peter pan was no more.

Forced to live like an adult, going deeper into himself, shutting himself off to the outside world, living like a nomad, and not really being happy with himself, his life or his world. His children was the last string to his life to hang onto and love...there love was real, untouched, unblemished, and no questions ask as to why this or that. He was accepted for himself, in their loving eyes.

Michael had become famous, it was what he wished for, only he became a victim and a prisoner of his own fame..

Because he was different from everybody else. Simple as that. People saw him as a psycho-monster when all he was ever doing was trying to help people, show them kindness, and unconditional love. Unfortunately, in today's society... people are way too cynical to believe that and "just don't get it." He was too good for this world... only the good die young. But his mark will FOREVER be left on this Earth--and the people who treated him like shit are the very ones who are mourning for him right now.

You don't know what you have until it's gone. So, so cliche' .. but so, so true. This is exactly why I try not to take anything in my life for granted. You never know when the day will come that you wake up and they are not there anymore.

I think it also says a lot about our society and the kind of world we live in that Michael had it so bad. Many people like to believe the worst of others, especially those who are perceived as different. The society is too focused on sex, meaning pretty much everything is seen as being sexually motivated. That's why it was so easy to twist Michael's love for children into something sinister and have a large number of people believe it too. Then there are greed, jealousy, shallow self-serving motives that make friends turn on him... Anything for money. Like someone said, evil rules - but it won't win. I wonder if the media, who'd been mainly negative or downright cruel towards Michael, was taken aback by the massive outpouring of grief and love that followed Michael's death?

"God makes the best suffer, because he knows they can handle it. They can take it and grow from it, and still flourish even though they are in pain. They take the pain of others because others would simply break and die under the pressure. It is their gift to the world."

strawberrypie999, that above quote is amazing. Michael has already won, he suffers no more. Those who hated are left hanging. I believe eventually the truth will out and Michael will be vindicated.
