Our sources say detectives completed their investigation late last month and the case will be formally presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney as soon as scheduling allows. Turns out ... the presentation will draw quite the crowd. A number of members of the LAPD and the D.A.'s office will be present, and finding a date when everyone can show is a little tricky ... but we're told it will happen in a matter of weeks.

I'd love to hear this news from someone aside from TMZ.

I mean, this is not the first time they have used the line "it will happen in a matter of weeks" and then nothing happened.

There is morality- i.e what doc Murray did and then where these actions fit into the breaking of any current law.
I do BELIEVE WE MUST NEVER GIVE UP! we must all pull together the fans, the family and make sure that dr. murray and whoever else may be responsiable is punished to the fullest extent of the law.
I know this might sound crazy- but has anyone thought of writing to Obama if it turns out we are not satsified with the way this case has been handled/prosecuted?
Having said that the fact that Dr. Death is going to be charged at all is something, not alot but something for us to work with in our fight for Michael.

If they go for manslaughter i guess they're going for criminally neglegent manslaughter which factors in murray leaving the room for too long or murray not calling 911 for an hour, depending on what story he's decided to stick with.

I was hoping for murder 2, maybe if they include murray lying to the emts, and the police i think initially, and changing his story 394276527465 times and the fact that his story really doesnt make any sense aaaaand the fact that he hasnt really shown any remorse or nothing, not even a 'sorry i did my best, he was a nice guy' to the family. I guess that could have been construed(sp? lol thats way wrong) as an admittance of guilt though?

I think it depends on wether the DA either doesn't give a toss and wants this all over and done with, or he wants to ham it up and thinks 'getting' the guy that killed mj would be good for his career...?
What i want though, is for all of murrays fuckery to come to light, so the general public know whats up as well as the fans. That way if murray only gets a slap on the wrist, more people are gonna know somethings up.

Yes, I DID say that. And that is part of why the I.U. has been so important to me, and to many others. I KNEW Murray would get off. I was so ANGRY, at times, about all of those who said "trust," and "they will get it right." Given past history, we had NO way of knowing this.

The house was NOT secured as a crime scene, and that basically destroys the case, against anyone.

We are many, and we will not give up. I just hope the Jackson family ininiates a wrongful death suit. That would not be about the money, but to let the truth be heard in court.

I agree with Victoria! We have to do everything we can! We are his family, we love him, we have never stopped supporting him. We are millions and we have to seek justice! Whatever we decide to do as a community I will participate. I can't take this madness. When the LAPD wanted to arrest Michael they did it within 24 hours and all the news reports broadcasted the "criminal" with the handcuffs! Now they treat him worse than garbage. I happened to catch Issues with Jane Valez the other day and they were talking about the death of Casey Johnson. Someone called in and made a great point, in the past year or so, there has been Heath Ledger, Michael, DJ AM,Brittany Murphy, and Casey (I'm sure I left someone out...) have all died. They all died under the age of 50 (all except for Michael in their 30's). All (not sure about Casey yet) had a "good" amount of Anti-Anxiety and pain medication in their homes. Michael is the ONLY one who died in the care of a doctor. I don't think fans are the only ones who are sick and tired of all these talented people dying. LAPD is too. And hopefully the DA, FBI and LAPD will be sending out warning to doctors by using Murray as an example.

Jan. 18th? Why that day? They MUST realize that's a holiday, a very IMPORTANT holiday. The only way THAT day would be good to announce charges is IF they plan on giving out real justice. If they are going to tap Murray on the wrist over this it will be a slap in the face, imo...and will solidify the theory that no one really gives a crap when blk on blk crime takes place. If Murray doesn't have at least as many charges stacked against him as those dished out in Anna Nicole's case, it will be BEYOND sad and disgusting. This doctor was IN THE HOUSE when Michael died. He administered everything intravenously and should have known what he was doing. There's no way this is a simple INvoluntary manslaughter case. I get it that propofol isn't illegal at this time to administer outside of a hospital (they're working on changing this, I understand) however, the careleess way in which it was administered was at best criminal. Seriously, they can't possibly be waiting for Dr. King's birthday to roll around to hit us with bad news. That would be an insult UNLESS they plan to sock it to ole Murray.

Anyway, not going to get upset over these tmz reports that seem to be carbon copies of each other. Gonna wait til the charges come down and there's no doubt in my mind there WILL be charges.

I''m deeply saddened by the whole experience. It brings up too many memories from my own family went through. My hubby's ex murdered his child & she was charged with involuntary manslaughter and is serving only 9 1/2 years in a federal prison. Had she not been on military grounds, I'm sure she would have gotten more time or even life!

The judge decided how severely to punish her and she got the maximum she could serve, but believe me the child's mother and we do not believe it was enough!

I don't think most of us will never be satisfied with how Dr. Murray is treated/charged.

It's all very painful & sad.

:sigh: I have not said very much about the circumstances surrounding Michael's death as I am very conflicted... and I know that not everyone agrees with me... but if in all the times that Michael was seeking/seeing someone for pain or sleeping issues or whatever, if just one, ONE FREAKING Doctor, had taken the time to really see what he needed or how to help him safely and healthy then we would not be without him today

that). Wasn't then his responsibility as a doctor to QUIT or refer

There's gross negligence here. Murray was the doctor; Michael was the patient. He should have known that dosage of the ridiculously strong drug would have harmed Michael. Not to mention the delay in calling 911 and CPR on a bed.

Since the day I found out Murray was a high ranking member of the secret society, I knew things weren't going to go well in terms of justice.
I don't want to take this topic in that direction, but it is major factor in the outcome of Murray's accusation, believe it or not.

And then you have LAPD. ...for those of you in the UK who don't know, you can't get any more crooked than LAPD.
I know that by physical experience in the past.

I will pray for the best...but we really need a miracle here. We're up against a group of evil people looking to cover their own butts. Including Murray's.
