We Are The World 25 for Haiti / Official video now in first post.

I like the video. I thought it was gonna be aweful, i think it sounds very good.

This is for Haiti

Wish I could.. but I'm not liking this at all :/ wayy too much auto-tune as well

but its for a good cause so...

Stop hating people cant you see the people from Haiti suffering there, are you so cold????

Michael was kept, that make it wonderful as well

I agree it is great that Michael is in it and i am delighted they will help haiti with the proceeds but i'm afraid it won't sell much because it is so bad.

The Today Show is talking about it this morning and they said it was produced by Quincy and written by Lionel Richie. What about Michael? They didn't even mention him. Didn't he write the whole song himself??

He wrote it with Lionel.

DAMN, the song is AWESOME!!! It's given me so many goosebumps...! Even tho' there are some artists that either don't sound good to me or I don't really like but this isn't important here - the song has just turned out great!
Lovin it...!!!

*sigh*

Why do they have to mess up such a beautiful song...
Sorry..I understand what this song is for..

But who the********** is Justin beaber or Miley cyrus...please enough with this crappy music.

Michael I want you back.:(

Are you being sarcastic?

No! There are many artists in the song that really put their hearts in, you can actually tell by seeing, hearing and especially feeling it! I really loved Pink, Jennifer, Enrique, Usher, Akon (unfortunately he sang with autotuning, but he has such a great voice actually), many more and especially Wyclef! He was really singin' from his heart! There have been some artists that I really don't like at all or sounded bad and the rap part wasn't the best, either. Tho' the song was really good and I loved it all in all!
My good God Wycleaf. Rapping? I'm sorry, I can't finish this.

Well, he wasn't rapping actually, he was singin'! It was not really a rap...

If they changed nothing people would be complaining that they had no creativity or originality. I think they did a great job, made great changes and a few questionable decisions.

Please stop hating. There's too much of it in the world and this is a charity song to help the victims of a disaster. All these people showed up to contribute to a good cause.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

The only reason the song is audible is because its core is "we are the world", the still recognisable (through all that mess) beautiful melody Michael composed. I mean, is it possible to make it worse than that? There is barely a highlight to the song either! I just listened to Michael's demo version, just his voice and a piano, and it sounds divine. So many "talented" artists, a "legendary" producer, and that is the result? Pity

All this hatred and negativity is makin me sick sometimes...
Sometimes people just won't be happy, no matter what!...

Janet was unnecessary it seemed as if she was lip syncing, the whole split screen came across as cheap.

I felt goosebumps when there was Michael....and all I could think is : he should be here, he would do a MASTERPIECE of remaking this song....I could imagine him there ...hearing his voice....
Song is ok, and it is for a great cause but that is all I feel.

I must admit that part shocked me also.

With all of the technology that is available today, that's the best they could come up with. It just looked so tacky to me.

Folks on this board have made way better videos out of their homes. LOL!

Read the last two sentences of my post #966 eStyle. Thank you!

I read it and I know that you're not actually hating on the artists, only the song but then again I have to say what I have posted wasn't a personal attack to you! ;)
It was just something I wanted to say and it was supposed to be meant for everybody... I was not only talkin to you, I wasn't talkin to you especially - I was talkin to the general. I only wanted to say that especially we MJ fans should know how hatred feels and how wrong and bad it is, so we shouldn't try to hate ourselves! :)

Never forget everybody - it is all for L.O.V.E.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I loooooooooooved it. With tears and everything, it was a well made remake of such a wonderful song.

Hoping they get a lot of moneyin so that the people in Haiti get more help!

Rap is included because this is the year 2010. Not 1985 when men were sporting tight jeans and basketball players sporting tight shorts. Im kidding but this is a different era and Rap is popular. You can't leave it out.

The version to me is cool. Im not one of those so worried about how much MJ participates just to support it. Im happy he's in it, but i didn't need that to support this. Over 100,000 ppl died in this earthquake. Stop worrying about how much MJ or his family are in the song.

Yes I agree with the rap thing, I think they want to give also those rap artists the chance to contribute in this new version, that's why they add the rap part I think
