U know one would think people would have enough dignity to step up now and say no, I'm not gonna live off a dead man's money but I guess they aren't as dignified. I know that I could never live of another person's money for decades, u gotta have no dignity and very little self respect to do that, that's for sure. But oh well

I think his biggest qualities were also his biggest enemies sadly...I remember Madonna speech for him at the vma,and i didn't even know she came from a very large family like M,I only knew she had one brother who was kind enough to write a nasty book about her last year..it all ended with lawyers ripping a new one to his bro who disappeared without leaving trace...I wished MJ had less regard for ppl and much more for himself,even if the people in question shared his same blood.
totally agree but then again Michael never did anything against anyone regardless of their last name, I think he believed in ignoring rather than suing

Michael had a kind and generous soul not only did michael take care of his family but donated to charities and help many many people from different parts of the world, michael was humanitarian and yes michael would want his mother to continue to do what she always did take care of the family, and give to charities michael was a giving person and some people took advantage of that which is wrong of them, but michael remained a giving person, so let katherine do what she know michael would want her to do is to take care of the family as she always did. through michael's help. and no family is perfect. michael took care of his family and there is no need to stop now.

Michael took care of his family yes..I agree with you...what I dont agree with is the fact the he should..(in death)..have to take care of ANYONE BUT his very own children , Katherine, and the charities he elected to. There comes a point in people lives when they have to learn to stand on their own two feet and take care of themselves. IMO...They have taken enough from Michael....time for them to grow up and become self sufficient.

what you saying is your opinion how it should be done, but michael cared about the jackson family and his kids and people all over the world if he trust katherine to take of the family let her do what she alway did, she did this when michael was here and katherine would know what michael would want her to do now.

How do we know that Michael WANTED Katherine to take care of every single person in that family at Michael's expense?...We don't...there is ALOT of manipulating that goes on in that family by certain members..(not mentioning any names) and Katherine as the mother of all of them ..of course is not going to let anything happen to them...Michael probably told her...like you say that he trusted her judgment. But if Michael REALLY wanted to take care of the whole damn clan he would of gave them the money himself...and he didn't.

Katherine is the legal and sole guardian of
only three children: Prince, Paris, and Blanket.
All of her other grandchildren and great grandchildren have living parents.
I'm sure her lawyer has already told her that
legally she cannot let anything hinder her in
carrying out her duties as guardian.
That includes raising
Jermaine's and Randy's children.

Katherine would no that answer best, take a look at how long katherine has been taking care of so many family members with michael help, so my guess michael would want for katherine to continue what she was already doing.

So following this logic as long as kate is alive it's ok to take care of the family and then I guess it's irrelevant.
M wanted kate to take care of HIS kids and we all agree on this one,then with the money he gave her/left her,she's always been free to do whatever she wanted,but if M wanted to be sure everyone had their share he would have done things differently.
I think randy jermaine and their wife took full advantage of the fact they were sure kate would always help them no matter what especially the kids...things are changing maybe because *someone* doesn't really agree with this view.

how do you know he didn't?? i think its kinda silly to think that Mj left nothing to the other family members. He could have set up accounts for them b4 he passed. like c'mon he knew his family situation, he knew how his money would be dispursed that is why he left it to his mother. I really dont see where you guys get ur conclusions from, its like some of you either think to highly or to low of this family.
With any wealthy family the money is dispursed to everyone. i bet in the trust money is left to every living jackson niece or nephew. and many of you speak about money but katherine is still on an allowance, she is paying for necessities First and If she is giving away Her left over money than how is that any of our business. why are we arguing/discussing money none of us will ever see!

i really hope they dont visit fan boards because some things said here are really hurtful despite what they may do.

Very good post except for the money part, it's not silly to think that michael didn't leave anything to his family because he wasn't obligated to but he very well could have has something panned with them.
The problem is some fans really feel that they have a say in what should take place and others act like they live in the house and know exactly what is going on lol people are drawing conclusions based on media speculation. The jacksons are still a family despite being in the public and not everything is revealed to the public. We don't know what's best for michael's children, I'm also assuming none of us know them personally. Michael left major responsibilities to his mother so we don't have to like her choices but they should be respected.

I don't think it's silly at all. Like most rich folks, he left most of his money to his children. That is what you usually do. I find it silly that anyone would be about the relatives getting his money when Janet, who is supposedly the 7th richest woman in entertainment is also in the family.

since the beginning of time, every man who grows up, works, and dies, leaves his money to his IMMEDIATE family. why do the rules change, when it comes to Michael? and why do those rules change, in the eyes of people who don't like seeing MJ as the most successful member of his family? that's an interesting dichotomy.
None of these hyrocrites would have had a problem with any other sibling leaving that kind of fortune back to their own kids. You really think you'd see these folks would be going on and on about ''sharing'' ''taking care of'' ''everyone is entitled'' ''all of them are immediate family not just his kids'' if this had happened to Jermaine or Tito? Of course not their problem is obvious and behavior just despicable.
