It's sad to see that many people gave those people money, if any consolation all of your donations can help with the estate's case as it is proof that this foundation solicited funds by tricking people into believing that they are related to Michael Jackson.

Furthermore this is a preliminary injunction, which means that the court is ordering them to stop use of Michael Jackson name and likeliness etc until the case is decided. The judge believes that if they let that website to be operational with Michael's name and likeliness there would be a good amount people tricked into believing that it's Michael's charity so this preliminary injunction is to protect the public's best interest. It also means that the judge believes that the estate has substantial likelihood of winning their case.

wow that was interesting. It tells all the story between this foundation (the woman behind it) and Michael.

- At 2001 she starts to try to contact Michael through his representatives and directly as she believes that she can see the events that's going to happen in the future (after an incident) and Michael would be working with her /partnering with her for Heal the World foundation.
- She appears unannounced and uninvited at Neverland.
- MJ's people warn her about her harassing and threatening behavior towards MJ.
- In 2002-2003 she registers 900 domain names related to MJ and the charity as she thinks that the management was letting go of this critical names.
- In 2003 MJJ productions come to an agreement with her to transfer those domain names to them and they would pay for the associated costs.
- She files for several trademarks including Heal the world, MJ, King of pop, Michael Jackson heal the world foundation etc etc without consent from Michael or his representatives. Majority of them got rejected.

- In her defense against the estate's lawsuit she says they waited too long for this lawsuit and therefore the lawsuit is unreasonable and prejudiced about them. It also says that they were aware of her actions and encouraged and supported that actions.
- However the 2003 agreement between MJJ productions and her say that MJJ productions and Michael did not ask her to do anything - that was her initiative. Therefore it doesn't support the claims that Michael and his representatives were aware or supported her actions.
- Furthermore the charity website and trademarks are all done 2008 and after. Estate filed the lawsuit in 2009. California has a 4 year statue of limitations in regards to trademarks.
- They did not respond to the estate's claim that they are soliciting funds using Michael's name.

By the way it looks like she can still use the name "Heal the World" as the original trademarks for those has expired 2001-2002.

Very interesting, thanks for posting, I suspected for sometime this was the kind of thing going on. They placed people on forums and this forum who were working for Branca to discredit HTWF last year sometime after MJ death.

HTWF staff has been through a great deal and we continue to fight for the Charity, the family and what we believe to be the right thing.

This injunction against HTWF is a temporary court order that prohibits us from using Mr. Jackson's image or name on our site.

The Estate Executors tried to get the Charity name and logo's restricted from us as well and the Judge ruled against their request.

What this means is that until we go to trial and can prove that we had and therefore have the right to use Mr. Jackson's image and name, we have to stop using it for now.

However, even though that is a huge problem for a charity, developed for this great man, as the main ingredient, it does not mean we are defeated, it only means we have to abide by the temporary order, until we can get our day in court and prove our case.

We ask that all members, for now, remove any pictures of Mr. Jackson that you have in or on your profile.

Please be aware that it is our strong belief, the Estate Executors have 'mole' members on this site and are monitoring all content and are looking for any evidence they can use against us in our upcoming trial.

In the past, there have been 'mole' members, that have joined the HTWF community, just to smear and create confusion and fear among members.

The member usually spread 'links' of false reports from the media and other sites, calling our validity into question. They did this under several user names to make it look like many people were in agreement that HTWF was a fake.

Then, when they got our members afraid and 'confused' as to our validity, they copied the blog conversations and they appeared in the court papers that helped the Estate get the Injunction against us.

"Confusion" in the public is one of the things needed, by the Estate to forcibly and legally take the charity and its brands.

We expect more of the same, so please be mindful of any member who is here, NOT to serve others, but to create contention and spread fear, confusion and doubt among members.

Please report such individuals to our staff.

Although I believe we are up against evil, those who seek 'wealth power and control and are not afraid to lie, steal and cheat to get it", I am confident, that after this battle ends, HTWF will stand and it will stand strong.

Let me add something here, you can be against the estate and the executors BUT do not support HTWF.

This Melissa Johnson has trademarked Michael's name in everything under the sun including backpacks, car window shields,bed pillows, dog tags, frames, sleeping bags, belt buckles, hair accessories etc. I hope that I made it clear that her trademark registrations are ridiculous and if the estate loses this case she can make and sell everything with Michael Jackson on it and make billions.

so once again it's okay if you're against the executors but be careful of who you are supporting.. Being against the estate/executors shouldn't make it okay to support people who clearly aiming to take advantage of Michael's name for their own monetary benefits.


also : she's known to harass Michael when he was alive. In 2003 she was told to stop registering trademarks and stop harassing Michael.

These mole members are on every site and forum trying to sway opinions! They have been ruthless and obvious.
Thanks for posting this! The truth will reach the surface when we stand up to heard.
 
I can't believe that some fans are supporting this woman, she wants to cash millions and apparently it's ok for the fans. And MJ's Kids ?
 
I think it is not ok for any fan to support her. How could it be. She is a fraud and a looney. As fans we have to keep ourselves educated. That is the only way we cannot be easily swayed by people's nonsense and self-importance.
 
Seriously, one is worse than the next. You can "support Mr. Jackson's vision of Healing The World" without owning trademarks. Your local shelter will GLADLY accept you voluntarily offering your help without you owning a single Michael Jackson trademark. WTF. I am sick to death from 50000 people playing dog-eat-dog because everyone wants their slice of the cake while claiming to have a charitable vision, justice etc.

I honestly don't care who's selling tacky belts or other high points of tastelessness. You are not going to take that money with you when you go, trust me. But I guess if you're green with envy than you feel you need a piece of the cake as well.

I'm all for investigating signs of abuse, that's an honorable thing to do- to prevent it from happening again. Just don't tell me you're preventing abuse by chasing trademarks fur umbrellas. There are countless charities that do that kind of work everyday that MJ would be proud of and they all fight for money because they believe in a cause.

Sorry but myself and other respected members who post on this forum against this HTWF are NOT moles or people working for Brance. We have good reason to be very concerned about Mellisa Johnson and what she has done and is doing

That is very dishonest to say that those fans against what Melissa has done and is doing are plants and not
legitiment concerned fans. but most of the information used to promote M. Johnson is false and dishonest _

I consider "think for yourself" to be a good guideline if you will. These kind of automatic loyalties blind people into blind trust where it's not always warranted. I take everyone with a spoonful of salt, "respect's not given, it's earned" and I sort of apply that to everyone, wether it "professionals" that surrounded him, family or fans (Ms Johnson may forgive me for blindly lumping her into the fan category...). It's next to impossible to decipher who did what and especially who had what agenda.

And I take both those who register a ton of trademarks as if their life depended on it just as cautiously as those that upped their earnings because ya know, you wouldn't wanna end up in the poorhouse...

an interesting comparison to consider

the estate (well actually triumph inc) holds around 10-15 trademarks (The ones I can remember on top of my head are : Michael Jackson, MJ, King of Pop, Michael's signature, 2 about Thriller, 2 about Neverland, This is it, MJJ productions feet logo, Neverland logo)

This Melissa Johnson according to her own words registered around 2,000 websites and trademarks that are about/related to Michael.

they use such DISHONEST tactics and
much false informatin in this video supporting M Johnson and her bogus HTWF _ her own actions over
the years and her comments here and on other boards hold her highy suspect _and the way she runs
her foundation is also highly suspect. She was never upfront with fans about the $$$ the mission or
her connection with Michael Jackson _ MJ or his attorneys were not working with her to help her use
MJ trademarks _ plus they were trying to buy all domains she created for her own use back from her.
That was the only reason they had contact _ It was not to help her promote HTWF_ they were trying

It looks like unfortunately some people will support anyone who is against the executors.

Let me add once more, it's completely fine if someone is against the executors but still you need to look to who the person is, what they have done etc before you give your unconditional support.
 
Michael named th same executors in two wills ! so,fans and family must respect his wish.

HTWF will have they day in court and that is when we will find out if they can prove there case.

What you dont understand is the way we see it, yes the will was updated in 2003 from the 90's , and in 2006 michael fired branca and ask him to return everything , at this time branca was being investigated for offshore accounts and for working against michael for sony (catalogue) why would michael keep the same will and keep branca as excutive when he fired him cause he did not trust him, it dont make much since to us fans and then this will being signed when michael was in new york and it state's it was signed in california. It's to obvious to the people thats paying attention that none of this make any sense.

They do not have enough money for a lawyer, and so this is why they are asking for donations. It is unlikely they will get one in time for June 10th, so they will automatically lose the case.

Well in the initial hearing the judge approved the estate's request and ordered a preliminary injunction to stop her from using Michael's name and likeliness to solicit money from people.. (she'll most probably be able to use the "heal the world" name as its expired).

Unless she can come up with a different explanation than " I know, I can see it Michael wants me run the Heal the World" and somehow debunks the 2002 letter from Michael's lawyer asking her stop harassing Michael and 2003 agreement she signed saying that "Michael did not ask her to register these names" and can explain why she told people "this is the original Heal the world" when the original one was closed in 2004, I don't see how she can win this thing.

Branca is named in the will as executor. He's not important that he was fired or not, he had the will in his possession or not. He is named in the will as executor.

if MJ was not happy with him, he would have written an other will or a codicil naming others executors. He had 7 years to do it. Others lawyers worked for him.

LOL! It is pretty important in my eyes that Michael fired someone because he didn't trust him but I am expected to believe he kept that person he didn't trust in charge of his childrens future?! Sorry, not buying it! By the way though, Branca was fired in 2003! A year after said will was written. Even if Branca could come up with a will dated later, after he says Michael hired him back, it would be more believable. I just don't believe him about anything! In my eyes, there was another will, probably destroyed by now.
As for this HTW woman, I don't trust her either but she does make some interesting points about the executors!
 
Different states have different laws governing how a will is carried out. Even if MJ was New York, it would make sense that he would sign CA on the will as that is where he was living and he would want the laws of that stae to govern how his will was carried out. So the fact that CA is listed as the state as opposed to NY is a non issue for me.

Johnson has bought god knows how many website domains and MJJ productions obviously was interested in getting the rights transferred away from Johnson. Pretty weird to begin with.

Sounds a bit like forcing yourself a connection with Michael Jackson by doing all sorts of things "for MJ" and thus forcing his management to acknowledge her. It feels like stalking in a backhanded way, I don't know how else to put it.

'Cause nobody would bat an eyelash if you were to purchase one domain name for your own pleasure if that's what floats your boat.

as it is written before

simply put MJJ productions did not like her registering and keeping those names and bought them back from her.

could you please provide the links to the full file rather than just one page, it should also state that Michael never asked her to register those domain names and I'll be able to provide details if I can see the whole document
