I have just subbmited my feedback to Sony. I am nowhere so naive that I believe that they might listen or something; I just needed to get it off my chest.

If anyone else would like to tell them how we feel, then this is the link;

Hi,

I wanted to give som feedback in regards to the "Michael Jackson" track Breaking news.

I don't know who provided the vocals on the track. It might be Jason Malachi, or it might be some other impersonator. The point is - as we all know by now - that it's not Michael Jackson.

This gives me, as a fan two possible scenarios to what might have happened here.

1) - Sony are deliberately trying to fool the public, the fans and Michaels own family. Something, which in that case obviously have failed big time.

Or:

2) - Sony genuinely believed it was Michael Jackson on the track. Something I really can't comperhend, since the imposter is unbelievably bad. But I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, and go for alterative 2).

In that case, I have taken the liberty to in a short manner suggest the way Sony has to approach this. By this, I mean the only way you can mentain the little amount of credibility you still might have left.

1) - Immediately remove this lame excuse for a song from michaeljackson.com. The longer it stays there, the longer it will continue to damage Michael's legacy.

2)- Postpone the album to 2011.

3) - Go through EVERYTHING you have of material, to make shure that NO ONE else than Michael provides vocals on them.

4) - Have an internal investigation, and get to the bottom of how something like this were allowed to happen. And make shure it never happens again.

5) - If Frank Cascio in some way managed to convince you that Michael is singing Breaking News - file a lawsuit.

6) - Release the album. Michael's album. Not Jason Malachi's or some other impersonators album.

If you follow these steps, you might still be able to not turn this into a total disaster. Allthough I have to admit, you are as close to one as you possibly might get. As the situation is now, an overwhelmingly amount of people will not buy the album. Myself included.

I'm done with this thread; because, I truly believe some people are being paid to come and post here.

I think people should actually listen to the whole song (Monster) before they decide whether it's really him or not.

You can barely make out anything from that YouTube clip.

I can see why so many fans are jumping to conclusions with this being another Cascio track. How can we trust any Cascio song now?

We didn't need the full track with "Do you know where your children are"

Why is people blaming Sony for the new snippet of "Another Day"? Lenny was the one that was working on it and mixing it.

Because the original version was clearly Michael's vision if you will. Lenny wouldn't go against that unless ordered to by sony. I just hope this is an early version or a remix to be added to a single or something.

Are people being paid to come here and keep typing the
word "fake"?

Are you serious?
You don't have to get paid to say the truth...those songs are fake. I don't hear Michael on those expect for some "oooh" and "aowws"....(that are sampled from old songs).

Michael dosen't derserve this. Poor Michael..
We shouldn't be treating this way.. MICHAEL shouldn't have to be treated this way.
What a evil world we live in :weeping:...
Satan World...

I don't blame you. For anyone that cares, this is my, a MJ fan for little over a year but feels like he has been for years, point of view.

It's him on the track.

Before anyone tries to contradict with my views or comment on how I haven't been an MJ fan for very long and therefore haven't got an ear for his "true" vocals, please hear me out. There have been tests on this track and they've said that they are his vocals. Are you seriously not telling me that there's NO way whatsoever that it can be his? Is there no way that he wanted to try a different vocal style? Is there no way that he just wasn't trying that hard to sing and his voice wasn't warmed up?

OK, let's look back to one of his best short films, "Ghosts". Are you telling me that when you first heard the mayor talk, you instantly knew it was MJ? I certainly didn't. The point is, MJ had the amazing ability to alter his voice greatly. Is there really no way that, based on what I've put on here, that it's not him? Would SONY be that idiotic considering what's at stake if they're found out? They wouldn't be that stupid. Unless there is DEFINITIVE and UNDISPUTED proof that the lead vocals aren't him, then I shan't be returning. Everyone's criticism of the song has tainted it for me, and I love that song! It's not one that stays in my head that long, but it's one I can listen to and never tire of. Unless SONY comes out with a statement and admitting that there was an alleged forgery, then all of this is based on what people believe they hear. Was anyone on here at the recording studio with MJ when he recorded the vocals? Has anyone heard what Michael sounded like in 2007, song-wise? I personally think that he was trying a new style of singing out, ala the Invincible album.

I REALLY don't mean to offend anybody, it's just how I feel after reading the reaction of the song on this forum, and I just had to say how I felt about all of this.

Sony should put all the songs of the album where there are any doubts if it is really MJ singing.

SONY could release a CD called The not finished MJ rehearsals and release them on there. Cause BN is a Very good track, but if it is not 100 % MJ vocals it should NOT be on a MJ solo album like Michael.

MJ made so many great songs, but only recorded few parts of the song - so if sony gets Jason Malachi to finish the song so we get to hear MJ's vision with the song, even though it's only 50 % MJ vocals I would love to hear it.

Imagine how many great songs MJ made but didn't finish. I would love to hear those, even if they are put togehter with another persons vocals - I JUST WANNA KNOW - AND I WANNA KNOW FROM SONY.

If they make it clear - songs where not finished so we had to add some vocals to make the song as MJ wrote it, then fine. But if SONY (like BN) says it's all MJ and really it isn't - then I'm not intrested. That's fraud.

I love Breaking News and hear it all the time, if an entire album could be made with songs that good, then fine by me. SONY should just be honest and say it's not entirely MJ.

:clapping::clapping::clapping:

If their lacking good tracks, MJ tracks, then add We've had enough and Someone put your hand out. They deserves to be released

Are there really only 8 tracks?

Albums with 8 tracks are generally awesome. No room for filler, just the cream of the crop. Not that Michael's albums ever had any filler (well, maybe a bit on Invincible).

I think it'd be awesome if the album was like...

Another Day
Can't Get Your Weight Off of Me
Escape
A Place With No Name
Do You Know Where Your Children Are
The Future
I'm Dreamin'
(and whatever the other will.i.am track was called)

Not in that order, of course, because we don't really know what any of those sound like in their entirety besides Escape. But I would be ecstatic with those tracks.

I'd go with this:

Hold My Hand
Another Day
Can't Get Your Weight Off of Me
Escape
A Place With No Name
Do You Know Where Your Children Are
The Future
I'm Dreamin'

Then I'd add Why (if there's a version with just MJ's vocals), and then talk with Rodney Jerkins and pick a couple songs from the Invincible sessions to finish the album.

Make it an even dozen. :)
