Yeah, I'd be really mad if my neighbours were blasting such a terrible song too. ;D

Yep full version definitely NOT the king of pop who sings on Billie Jean and Will You Be There.

How can this happen :(

... but they're getting away with it. Okay, the hardcore fans aren't fooled, but have you read the album reviews??? A lot of them are praising the Cascio tracks and don't even mention the controversy over the fake vocals.

The media haven't picked up on this at all. Makes me sick to think they're getting away with this.

About the semi-tone story...It's what I thought also when I fist heard Breaking News. It was like when I hear Billie Jean in a Club you know...they always play it faster than it should and it gives this voice with a semi-tone up...

Then, I almost fell into the conspiracy theory but now I'm more into "it's MJ". After all, he never sounded exactly the same, album after album...

but something still weird in this Story but what... ? I don't know...

At least, the engineering process for the record of these Tracks could explain why fans don't recognize MJ even on MONSTER which is an absolute HIT.

To make a Title like MONSTER you better be a big professional with a certain Career behind and the singer is PERFECT, A MASTER...

It's also very well written and fits well with Threatened and Ghosts

So just cry and let people have their own opinion.

Thinking the vocals are him is one thing, but to see somebody go as far as to say its better than Blue Gangsta has just shocked me. I'm letting people have their own opinion. You dont hear me saying. 'Hey, dont say that! Dont think that!' I'm just..crying thats all. Just crying.

I for one am so glad about the leaks of DYKWYCA and BG, they took away alot of the huge dissapointment about the 'new' album. As soon as i heard BG had leaked i got crazy and had to find it ASAP, and when finally hearing it and loving it...ah yes, that's what i hoped from the new album...i'll never understand this situation though. Cause on one hand it's crazy that all the producers and people the estate claims says it IS MJ wouls have been paid to lie about this. On the other hand i trust my ears and i don't trust those tracks one bit.

Vibrato was a huge giveaway until i found out that its possible that they added that in digitally, which would be stupid as hell, the vibrato is annoying and overdone anyway. At the end of the day....it could be Michael on these tracks, but they messed around with the voice, with the pitch, which make it sound like its someone else...cause this is not the Michael from the non-Cascio tracks. This is not the Michael who gave us all those awesome albums.

I almost fell into the conspiracy theory
It's not a conspiracy theory. Let me give you some examples of conspiracy theories.

MJ is still alive.
Sony planned to kill MJ.
9/11 was planned.
Illuminati.
George Bush is a reptilian humanoid.
etc.

seriously everyone let people have their own opinions - whatever it might be and regardless of you agree or not.

there's no need for drama

I am not listening to it. I need to keep some element of surprise for when I actually buy it. At this rate, nothing will be new to me.

I've already heard HMH and Much Too Soon in their 100% full versions. I've heard Another Day close enough that I know what it will sound like. I want to keep Monster, Hollywood Tonight, Best Of Joy, and Behind The Mask more of a surprise for when I get the album.

It is somewhat odd that those supporting the Cascio tracks are mostly "new" members with 0-30 odd posts... Just sayin'!

just a fyi - accusing someone with a crime (fraud, forgery) without proof is defamation/libel. At most the (legit) media would mention the controversy but never definitely label the songs as fakes/frauds.

and if you believe anyone is getting away with anything wait until December 14th album release and then sue Sony , Estate and Cascio's for consumer fraud.

Yeah I must admit I had noticed that but hadnt mentioned it.

It could just be that they are people who have observed the forum for years, but had enough of all of the fake talk and decided to register and start defending their side.

We have also had a lot of new members come on saying the vocals are fake. However they have ended up going about it the wrong way with their short '100% fake! $ony $ucks!' comments and have ended up getting banned.

Unfortunately easier said than done!

Actually, out of interest, does anyone know if the "coalition" of fan clubs is intending to sue when it's released?

I like Monster, especially the ending:

"It's dragging you down like a monster
It's dragging you down like a monster"

I think it is better song then Breaking News. The vocals are still different but for me it is Michael Jackson because there is no other logical explanation. In this track Michael's voice is the most recognizable of all 4 Cascio tracks that I've heard.

And we must know that this is not the final version. I think that the final version with 50 rapping and Orianthi on the guitar will be a big hit.

I prefer Another Day, Hollywood Tonight & Behind The Mask for future singles because all of this controversy about Cascio tracks, but if Sony decide to release Monster as a single I think that will do well on the charts.

I agree...please if you know a better uptempo from the last decade except on the Invincible album...please tell me.

Monster is a Monster Project to produce...it's very very sophisticated...the singer is a Master...

I can't see anybody else doing this than MJ...

since when having a high or low number of posts was an indicator to anything, Just sayin'

why?

do you know that all it required was ONE WOMAN from Ohio and ONE WOMAN from California to sue Arista Record because of Milli Vanilli? and that later it turned to a class action lawsuit?

It only takes one person to sue so it's not that hard to bring lawsuit.

The issue will be "do you have any proof to make your case"?

Couldn't have put it better myself!

People have to stop saying the cascio tracks aint Michael. Michael would be so dissapointed of u guys. I swear. Shame on u. I dont care if its yr opinion cuz this is an insult to his project and album for US - THE FANS he truley loved. Its MICHAEL JACKSON on all songs on the new album.

Accuse others without proof is always easier.

Do mine, and thousands of other fans' ears count?

The fact that we are likely to be on the losing side has not escaped me. Especially after the testimony of other respected figures in the industry, and the effort Sony has gone to to establish the legitimacy of the tracks.

I wouldn't assume so unless you can eloquently put how it's not him into words as well as have evidence that can contradict whatever tests SONY and the Estate had ordered, as well as the testimonies of the engineers/producers that the Estate mentioned in their statement.

I bet MJ IS spinning in his grave... at the thought of his fans turning against each other and being malicious over his music.

EDIT: So what you are saying is, believe what the Estate says, with evidence that backs them up in any kind of legal situation, or believe people that belittle others for having different beliefs over music... Decisions, decisions...

Wow, I didn't know that. I remember the Milli Vanilli thing of course, but never knew this detail (and don't remember any of the other details anymore, lol, only that the people involved got into A LOT of trouble for it, which begs the question if it was worth it - same with MJ now, why would they risk that?). I thought it would be more complicated than that, not impossible, but also not that simple. So maybe after Dec. 14 someone actually will go see a lawyer and this thing will get sorted out once and for all. And let's not forget the Jackson family members that also think the vocals are fake ... they probably don't even have to wait until the release?

no we wont keep our opinions to ourselves ! We have a right Just listen to tracks such as childhood and compare that voice with Keep Your Head Up - they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT .

Is the voice of Childhood similar to the vocie of "the girsl is mine" ?

is the ovice of "Billie Jean " similar to the voice of "Jam" ?

is the voice of "Smooth Criminal" similar to the voice of "You rock my wolrd"

I don't think...
